Guest guest
Hi Virginia, I tried to find it in my files, but I had deleted it. I remembered that it would still be posted at the group web site so I cut it from there for you. Here it is again, just for you, dear Virginia. I hope you are doing well. Re: Regarding heart health Hello , I am getting ready to leave town again in a few days, but I wanted to try to answer your question before I leave town. I agree with our other LifeLifters that you should always consult a doctor before trying any workout if you have any health problems, and that said I would like to share my personal story with you. Please forget that I am the creator of LifeLift and think of a small child about 5 years old who is so ill that she is not allowed out of bed to run or to play like other children. That child is real, it was the picture of my childhood and it all relates to heart problems. I developed Rheumatic Fever when I was about 5 years old and it took the doctors 2 years to diagnose what I had. Meanwhile my cousin died from the same illness. It was often that I would wake up in the night with horrible nose bleeds. I remember my Mom and Dad running to the kitchen to get pans to catch the blood. I still do not know how it was all related to the Rheumatic Fever, but as small as I was I have strong memories of it all. I remember hearing the doctors telling my Mom and Dad that I would most likely not live to my teens and if I did I would always be limited due to the heart problems caused from the illness. I was never allowed to take gym classes or swim or run. They felt if I did that my heart would not be able to deal with the stress. At 19 I started a quest to overcome this. I started reading every book I could get my hands on that related to building the immune system. I was hungry for knowledge and information. I took my own money and purchased a membership to a gym. I started lifting weights and working out and keep in mind that my body was so emaciated from no exercise that I felt I was lifting the weight of the world. Determined, I struggled through, in spite of the pain. I loved the feeling of strength and power that working out gave me. I was hooked and I decided that I may die trying, but I was determined to change the outcome that I was given. Because I loved the feeling of this new strength, I kept working out and I looked to be in great shape, but my immune system was still very weak and I would catch every cold and flu that crossed my path. None of this changed, until I started doing LifeLift. When I added this incredible way of breathing to my life, everything started to change. I started to notice that I did not get colds or flu and if I did catch something I would recover within short days instead of weeks as I did before LifeLift. But the most wonderful part of this story was that after only a short time of doing LifeLift my outcome of my physical exams started to change. My heart seemed to be getting stronger and my whole system seemed to be falling into perfect balance. After a short time all of the heart tests started to come back with no traces of a heart condition I had been told I would never recover from. To this day, at 63 I no longer show traces of a heart condition that I was told as a child would keep me in doom for my whole life. My doctor always says " Whatever you are doing, keep doing it " after each physical. For those of you who have the Victory Theory, you have heard this all before, but for those who don't this may be very important. Every LifeLift breath you take may not only help you slim down, but it may also make the difference in how you put your body back in balance. It may be minor changes and it may be almost miraculous changes as it has been in my case. Whatever it is, every one of those LifeLift breaths may be more precious than anything you have ever imagined. You may gather lots of money in your life but if you don't feel happy and healthy what is the point? Having your body in balance is the most wonderful gift you can ever give yourself. Guest guest
Rashelle you beat me to it! I was planning on getting her a copy later this evening. I have been out of town this past week. We took a family vacation to the Rockies to go white water rafting on the Arkansas River. (fun, fun, fun!). While we were gone, Virginia and her family were plant sitting my tomato and strawberry plants. (This year I planted my garden in large pots). I had gone over to pick the plants up earlier today and got a chance to visit briefly with Virginia and her husband. Always a pleasant visit and I wish I had time for them more often. I found out her grandson loved the cherrie tomatoes, which I was glad to hear. Anyway, I told Virginia I'd get her the message AND loan her your wonderful Victory Theory tapes. I am hoping she will find them and wonderful as I do. How has your summer been? I'm always so glad to see your posts. :-) Take care, Karma Calling for help Hello, Can anyone help me? Guest guest
No, don't misunderstand -- the church guided me to a professional nursing service, from which I hired my helper. She's paid, by me. But getting a caregiver is not something I would have even thought to do without the knowledgeable guidance of the care committee, which exists to hook people up with community as well as church resources. Even churches that are worried about liability can at least offer that kind of advice, if they're paying attention to the community at all. Evangelical megachurches are supposed to be great at this stuff -- if you're religiously bent that way. I've also been absolutely dazzled by the quality of Jewish social services -- and, in some places, the Y is every bit as good. I hear tell that in Texas, one-third of the population has no health insurance whatsoever. Wow.
