Guest guest Posted June 9, 2008 Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 I'm confused about my lab results. The doctor says I have lyme disease but the results say I am negative. The doctor knows they say negative but to disregard that. Looks like there are two types of tests done - IGG and IGM. I am negative or nonreactive on the four IGM bands. With the ten IGGs, I am reactive on the 41kD and 93kD bands. Can anyone explain why the test says overall negative while showing positive on two bands?
