Guest guest
Hi, I posted this to the California Lyme list, as well. I'm taking Cipro now for Bartonella, plus Biaxin and Mepron for Babesia. Soon after I started the Cipro, I went into a depression/anxiety cycle and had to have my antidepressant dose increased. My LLMD said I could pulse the abx, because I felt sick all the time since I started this protocol (was on Bicillin-LA for a year before this). I went off for three days and when I started taking the abx (including Cipro) yesterday, the anxiety returned, along with the depression. I once had the same thing happen on Flagyl and had to stop taking that. Within 36 hours, the depression was gone completely. Anyone else had something like this happen with Cipro? Thanks, Janet
Guest guest
I can't take cipro. It states that to those on antidepressants shouldn't use. I had to prove this. It made me cry nonstop. Cipro makes depression worse even w/o lyme. I took it before lyme and it clearly states on side effects. Guest guest
My anxiety & depression (Lyme related) has returned since starting Mepron (3 weeks ago). I looked at the side effects list and they are considered " serious side effects " of Mepron. Wonder how many of the drugs we are prescribed have these possible side effects.
