severe numbness and pain in fingers, KNEES and feets !

HELLO EVERYONE ...ONE AND ALL !

I have missed you SO ! I changed the settings on my computer so I

didn't get ALL the mail sent to my mailbox but it seems I never get

the time to get in here to the room to see ya'll ! I miss hearing how

everyone is doing every day and hope all is well ? My 5 year old

Granddaughter is coming tomorrow from Missouri to spend Christmas

with us. I am so psyched ! BUT ....of course with this lyme and

fibromyalgia usually the best plans somehow get ruined.

Lately ...since starting Diflucan to treat my lyme I am having severe

numbness , tingling and PAIN PAIN and MORE PAIN in my fingers , KNESS

especially and feet. I cannot distinguish whether this is herxheimers

syndrome pain and numbness and it just means a major die'off OR is

something else going on with me ? It gets really scary at times ! For

the past 10 days or so my left thumb and top of hand have been numb,

now today that isn't so bad but the last 3 fingers on my right hand

are so numb and tingly (feels as though its 'asleep' as we say ) and

my KNEES hurt so bad I can barely make it up the stairs to my

bedroom. My lower calfs and feet get SO RED and angry looking,

especially if I have been standing for a long period of time ....

(more than a half hour , heh heh) really ...if I am cooking dinner or

something my lower legs and feet just throb , when I looked last

night it looked as if my legs and feet were on fire. I had a rash on

both that looked like measles ! YES ...MEASLES ....they were so sore

and red and blotchy I could hardly stand it. HAS OR HAVE

anyone ...ANYONE..ever have these things happen to them ? I love you

all and am truly sorry for what I am about to say ...but in my case

MISERY LOVES COMPANY !!! HAHA !!! Nah ...its not that it loves

company but I get so frightened if these things just happen to me and

start thinking all sorts of crazy thoughts. I start think I have

misdiagnosed and really have ALS or something worse like a huge tumor

on my spine ....you name it , I think it ! As a nurse we get so busy

with self diagnosis ...every symptom looks like something worse than

it is. NOT that lyme isn't almost as bad as it gets , but when I went

to Nsg School we didn't even KNOW about lyme , therefore I didn't

learn about it. Funny , last night I was browsing my MERCK

manual ..lists every disease and disorder known to man and there is

one paragraph regarding lyme. This book was from the early 80's and

virutally nothing was known about lyme disease. PLEASE ANYONE if you

have felt this pain and numbness in your limbs please email me and

let me know ? I just don't feel so alone if I know this is a 'normal'

symptom of lyme or herx reaction. I have made up my mind this time

that no matter how bad the herx gets , I am going to persevere and

keep going until I can't stand it anymore. I feel very tired and

other than this pain and numbness not too bad. Not nearly as bad as

other times . PLEASE ..any feedback you can give to me is

some of my listings on ebay to take a certain percentage for donation

to the Lyme Disease Association or the Drulle fund for lyme disease

research, if any of you sell on ebay , and you want a certain

proceeds percentage to go to lyme research or another nonprofit

organization of your choice when you click on donations , I can't

find any for lyme so I have written to Mission Fish (they will

automatically provide you with the form) asking for a lyme research

nonprofit that we can contribute to. I hope to coach some of you into

doing the same. Of course if you need all of your proceeds due to

medical bills etc than by all means do it at a better time in yourl

makes clothing for women and for my SORE SKIN it is a dream come

true. Retail in the boutiques it costs a fortune , but on ebay you

can find it really cheap. Their clothing sells from a dollar up to

probably $40 is the most expensive thing I have ever seen. Its

supposed to fit baggy and is just the cutest line of clothing ..sizes

small to 3x , loosly fitted linen ! Just a thought ;-) Of course you

don't need to or have to , it is just a suggestion to share. I

myself , since I have gotten sick would rather croak than put on a

pair of tight jeans. They are uncomfortable enough when you are not

sick ...lol .but with fibro or lymes they just kill me ! So , come
