do you know your nervous system is destroyed? Have you called your

llmd and told them what is going on? I am very concerned for you.

I really hope you get through this OK. I was concerned about taking

artemisinin because I had read that it can be neurotoxic, and there

was one study that linked it with brain stem injury. But

Buhner said he felt it was safe, and the study said it took a while

for the toxicity to build up, so I figured a few days would be safe.

I took it for 5 days, and developed a weird spot in my vision - all

sparkly and blurred. It has been there ever since. The

Ophthalmologist says it is not in the eye, and it must be in the brain.

I don't know whether it was caused by the artemisinin, or if it was

caused by the Lyme. But it was enough to scare me off of artemisinin.

I think I am the only one on the list who has had a negative

experience with it.
