I am not really sure what a papule is but I have small red, raised spots on

mostly my abdomen that come and go. Sometimes they feel a bit itchy but most

times not. Not sure where the lymph line is either - so I am interested in

knowing what others say.

Did anyone ever have papules on neck, chest etc.... that would be

one cluster with 1 main red papule ( if others they are really small

next to this main one ) take 1-2 weeks to disappear than reappear in

other areas once others are gone so weird. They also seem to appear

along lmph line Thanks

I have also had what Ann describes but only a couple times. I didn't notice

any smaller bumps around the papules that I remember. They were on my abdomen

and a bit over my ribs. I, too, am curious to hear what others say.

it also could be HPV. i had a red papule on my knee that did not go away and

had it removed by the skin doc. he said it was definately HPV and that that did

not mean that i had HPV inside my body too, just that i had an external

maifestation of it...

HPV is a kind of herpes...yuck

This is fairly common in some Lyme patients and your LLMD should be able to give

you a script for some anti-itch cream and maybe a Atarax prescription. If you

are not allergic to Benadryl, then you could take that to help with itching...

but I would suggest the liguid filled softgels as they do not contain red

dye.....

Also try to wear clothing that breathes such as mostly cotton blends as they are

less irritating to the skin....

Hope you get some relief..
