I had drs. that felt I had strokes, but nothing ever showed up as a

stroke. I believe I read somewhere that strokes can happen with Lyme.

I did have brain lesions and was misdiag. with MS for a time.

I have had chest pains, too. I have costochondritis or should say Lyme

mimicking it. That causes chest pain. One time I was admitted to the

hospital for pain and had an abnormal EEG. They thought I was going to

have a heart attack. Turns out it was from the arthritis in my C-spine

which may be from Lyme, also.

One drs' site I read said Lyme can mimic any disease and any symptom.

A good site to go to is www.CanLyme.com and go to the symptoms link. I

did that and found I had 5 of the mentioned diagnosis and then 38-40

symptoms.

If you had the rash as I did, don't test with just any lab, test thru

IGeneX. I tested neg. 3x's with the reg. labs and so was left

untreated until recently. Also, don't see just any dr., be sure to see

a LLMD!

PS If you get tested by IGeneX and your dr. tells you the test was

neg., be sure to get copies. They can read neg., but actually be

indeterminate in areas that would mean a positive diagnosis to a LLMD

That is what happened to me.

Thanks for the reply, it is very frustrating since I am in North

Carolina and a LLMD is hard to find. The infectious disease Drs.

here are very much on the party line. I think the Neurologist is

more open but we will see. Are you OK now?

Did you go to the LDA site to look for a LLMD referral?
