Guest guest
My dr and i chose to do long term abx - shots twice a week for about 3 years - she said IV patients seem to get better than relaps - she believes in a slow - long treatment - It worked for me. mboyerphd <lyme@...> wrote: May I ask what improvements you noticed? I was recently diagnosed, and am speaking with my doc tomorrow about the possiblitity of IV abx. I don't want to pursue it, though, it the minuses outweigh the pluses... If you had it to do over again, would you go the IV abx route? Thanks, Michele --------------------------------- Sponsored Link Mortgage rates as low as 4.625% - $150,000 loan for $579 a month. Guest guest
What are the minuses about IV abx? I have been on them for nearly 10 weeks and never ever felt better! Other than the yeast issues..haha...that's easy enough to fix up though... [ ] Re: IV antibiotics..... Guest guest
So does chemotherapy, but I'd rather take my chances with abx than chemotherapy. But I'm no expert on the dangers -- since I decided to avoid IVs due due to the possible side effects and expense and because I heard that some people are on them for very long periods with no benefit or they have a benefit, but they relapse later. So, after 2 years of oral antibiotics didn't help, I decided instead to try the Marshall Protocol, which uses immune modulation and low pulsed doses of oral antibiotics. A number of people who failed with IV antibiotics are now improving on the Marshall Protocol (see recent issue of Lyme Times and _http://members.aol.com/SynergyHN/transcript_ (http://members.aol.com/SynergyHN/transcript) for overviews). I am happy with my progress, but I recommend the MP be studied carefully and also that one does it very slowly and cautiously, since the Herxing can be so powerful.
