Guest guest
Annette, When I got on my first anti-candida diet, I was told that I would be experiencing a lot of mucous secretion from all parts of my body (nose, vagina, anus, coughing up from lungs), which would mean that the yeasts were getting cleansed from the body. Phlegm may be a good thing in your case. Guest guest
I think that the sugar in the fruit causes your throat to " cloud up " . Opera singers used to (and maybe still) drink lemon water to clear their throats before singing.
Guest guest
In laymen terms - makes your body produce excess mucus. Slow down with grains and stick to HB foods. PS: Where those fruits organic? What kind of protein? Phlegm What causes the phlegm that immediately forms in my vocal chords just after eating some foods? For example, about 10 minutes after just drinking a smoothie (frozen blueberries & cherries, banana, water & protein powder)? It happens with other foods as well, I just wasn't sure what causes it and if it is a sign of anything. Tom
Guest guest
No grains except one slice of Ezekial Bread a few times a week. Fruits were grocery store frozen variety (organics cost twice as much), except banana which was organic. Protein Powder was Nutribiotics Rice Protein Powder which lists the following for ingredients: Enzymatiucally processed rice protein from California brown rice. Completely vegetarian. Contains no soy, milk, egg, yeast, corn, wheat, sugars or preservatives. Phlegm What causes the phlegm that immediately forms in my vocal chords just after eating some foods? Guest guest
Hi Tom, as a singer, I know this problem very well ... sometimes it comes from special foods, like milkproducts - but as 0's we don't eat them ... and as I understood, it is always after drinking or eating ? could be too strong digestion-enzymes (or too weak) that causes it, or that provocues this reaction for protection of the mucous-membranes . maybe you should check your digestion - and don't forget: the whole rispiring AND digestion is protected with mucous-membranes - if something is wrong in digestion, OR in respiration, ALL the mucous-membranes can react love Tom wrote: > What causes the phlegm that immediately forms in my vocal chords just > after eating some foods? Guest guest
still talking about phlegm I see ha ha if i eat a bowl of mocha almond fudge ice cream that happens to me ( would that be one the avoid list? ) ) Deb
Guest guest
I get this reaction if I eat something neutral that maybe I really shouldn't. Like a little goat cheese on a spelt tortilla. Yum, but causes drips in my throat. Or something with an avoid buried in the ingredients somewhere. That's how it works for me, anyway. Guest guest
Hi ! Well, first I can tell you there is lyme disease in Wisconsin, because that's where I live. I, too, had a rash (lower leg), followed by aches and pains and doxy for four weeks. It was not enough to eradicate the pain, but I couldn't get anyone to extend the doxy script. I finally found a doc in Milwaukee to treat me Aug 28th. Started rocephin and flagyl on the 30th. The fatigue I can relate to. The phlegm I have not experienced in my lyme, but it is plausible as a symptom of lyme because lyme critters can get anywhere. Where in Wisconsin were you when you got the tick bite? I would see a lyme literate doctor if I were you. If you need a name, I know the names of some in the area. Cheryll [ ] Phlegm First, my story: I was bitten by a tick around June 24, 2006 in Wisconsin. (I never actually saw the tick.) I started to notice symptoms 13 days later on July 7: fever, headache, aches, (I never noticed the rash, although I suspect there was one on my ankle.) By July 14, the disease had become disseminated and I noticed multiple rashes all over. I saw my doctor on July 17 and started Doxycycline that day. Within 5 days, the rashes, aches & pains were gone. I continued the Doxycycline treatment for 4 weeks and was released by my doctor. I have two lingering ailments: phlegm and fatigue. The phlegm is light green and comes from my lungs or throat. Usually I would consider phlegm like this to be a symptom of an upper respiratory infection or bronchitis, but now I am wondering if it is a lingering symptom of the Lyme disease. I have had this problem for about 3 months now, and a respiratory infection could explain the fatigue. Anyone else have these symptoms? Are these symptoms severe enough to be called " chronic Lyme disease " ? Sincerely,
Guest guest
Hi Cheryll, thanks for your message. I was either bitten around Eau or Hayward. I live in Lake Geneva. Unless the condition worsens, I'm not ready to see any more doctors... as for now, I'm still hoping that my Lyme has been cured and I just have some other infection. How long were you infected before you started receiving treatment? - On 10/17/06, Cheryll <literacyandslp@...> wrote: > > Hi ! > > Well, first I can tell you there is lyme disease in Wisconsin, because > that's where I live. > I, too, had a rash (lower leg), followed by aches and pains and doxy for > four weeks.
