Guest guest
I have times where it's hard to swallow, and I have times when I choke, but other times I'm fine. I don't know what causes it, but it's not the antibiotics because I had this problem before I started the antibiotics. Kathy > >

Guest guest
Margherita Hi- the tightness was in the chest- it wasn't bad just noticeable and didn't interefere with normal breathing or anything- I haven't done any hard exercising (which would increase my respirations) for a long time, so don't know if it would have gotten worse if I'd tried that. The sensation was from inside my chest- so imagine it was yeast in my lungs- remember too that I've smoked for a very long time. Had no problems with my esophagus. Am wondering if there was die off and your esophagus was affected. Darn Lyme goes anywhere it wants to. Or could it possibly be something physically in the esophagus- a pocket, acid reflux or?? Take care Rose Marie > > Rose Marie, you said you got some chest tightness with diflucan. I have been getting a " pinching " in my esophagus w/ the doxycicline and amoxicilin--so much so that I had to stop the oral abx. I did get through 10 days of diflucan (but was supposed to do 14). Was your sensation muscular or in the esophagus? > > Has anyone else gotten esophageal discomfort w/ the abx?
