Guest guest Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 Hi, After over a year of testing for everything under the sun and being told by a neurologist that I was " anxious and over concerned about my health " nothing was wrong despite muscle twitches & spasms, weakness, slurred speech, bone pain, muscle aches & pains and other nasty symptoms which would weaken and worsen; my family doctor decided to treat me for Lyme disease. It is purely out of desperation, since I have no recollection of a bite and the test was negative. How long after starting antibiotics do you start to feel better? I've been on Doxy for 2 weeks and I have no side effects in fact I feel nothing.
