Western Blot just came back negative--what exactly does that mean if anything?

My dr. now thinks I don't actually have Lyme since all bands were negative on

the western blot. He thinks the initial screening for lyme was a false positive.

I've been on doxy for 10 days. He's going to humor me & give me another month of

it but he feels I don't need it. Most of my symptoms have gone away except for a

stiff neck---could've been the crappy massage I got a few days ago.

What do you think?

I know if anything I've caught it early, so I read that that can give a negative

result if tested too early.

Any info/input would be greatly appreciated!
