Guest guest
I am about to try to get on the marshal protocol....I do believe it will work and I incourage others to try it...I feel it will work and is the answer to lyme disease and it bieng chronic...I dont believe in any of the natural approaches and they in my opinion are silly and waste time. in reference to the mp it goes like this...in a nut shell...there is inflamation all around the body..the antibiotics cant penitrate the inflamation...so we are able to kill some but not much...if we use high dose it goes into a cyst stage...and then were stuck...the mp uses benicar to totaly block the inflamation and also returns the immune system back to normal..they use a low dose of mino in the begining.staying below the radar of the immune system.because of the blockade the antibiotics become very powerful and do there job with less dose..benicar alone can make you herx by removing the inflamation..the immune system can do its job..then the antibiotics is started and over a course of time it is switched to another antibiotic in low dose..even at low dose you will herx like crazy but in a controlled fashion as the benicar dapens it.. the mp is removing the very foundation that the germs use to hide...I am not a doctor and that is how I interprate it..The marshal protocol...look it up read about it.. learn about d metabolites and there effect on you..also learn about how light and the sun effects you..that is the way I am going...good luck to everyone... eric
Guest guest
, I thought you were taking mino and doing pretty well with it. Have you gotten worse? Has something changed? Guest guest
hello jessie I was getting better but if I stop the mino I get so achy and sweaty...the brain fog lifts for a short time and then it all starts to come back...I have not done the heavy mino...I take 150 mg a day...the reason that I was thinking about the mp is that I took mino and aspirin at the same time and it greatly potentiated the effects of the mino....also I cut my finger very bad and they gave me augemanten...after the second week I had heart inflamation and constant heart skips...it was scary...it took two week for the herx to slow up...so it is obvious that the inflamation is making this disease harder to beat..I think the mp might work..so we will see...what antibiotic are you on? eric , I thought you were taking mino and doing pretty well with it. Guest guest
Hi , I just switched to doxy, 200 mg twice a day. I had good results last year on Biaxin & Plaquenil, but I started to get worse again. In fact, I've herxed on everything I've taken (Flagyl, Ketek, Diflucan, Buhner's protocol; I'm sure I'm forgetting something) -- but I never get much better after a brief post-herx period of euphoria. I concluded that I must have a co-infection or two and suggested to my LLMD that I go back on doxy; he agreed. I had a nasty herx almost immediately, then my brain cleared up. It's better than it's been in months (maybe a year or more). I did not test positive for bartonella or babesia and I don't have the symptoms for ehrlichia (sp?), but I kept coming back to the idea that I had a co-infection. Interestingly, my LLMD did not want me to spread the 400 mg throughout the day. I take 200 mg at breakfast and 200 mg at dinner. He wants it to spike, then drop -- intraday pulsing! Do let us know how you're doing on the MP. Guest guest
I agree that minocycline (especially in the context of the Marshall Protocol) is much more effective than doxy. IMO, over time, the doxy effects become palliative and/or ineffective rather than truly killing the bacteria and making true progress.
