Guest guest
Hi all, I’ve been receiving these emails as a member for a while, but I’m too ill right now to be able to comb through all of the dozens of emails each day. I have a lot of email to attend to outside of this, and my box is bloated with LDN messages which I don’t have the energy to read. I’m not sure I want to unsubscribe totally, because now and then I get to read a few of them and want to have them to refer to later, but I’m wondering if anyone has a suggestion of how I can separate them from my other emails — like, do people have a special “account” with their ISP designated for this group? I’m very computer unsavvy, so I’m hoping someone else might have a solution to the glutted inbox problem. If there is no such solution, can I suspend my subscription or stop it temporarily, so that it’s easy to just resume the subscription later if I want? How easy is it to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe at another date? Thanks for any advice, much appreciated.
Guest guest
I have a specific email account for groups. So that is one thing you can do.You could also switch the group setting so that you do not get emails and have to log into the group page to see/read them. You can always switch it again later. And yes, it is quite easy to unsubscribe (or leave the group) and rejoin at a later date.Healing thoughts your way,Jaxi On Sat, Feb 26, 2011 at 3:01 PM, Daria Alma Fand <daria@...> wrote: Hi all, I’ve been receiving these emails as a member for a while, but I’m too ill right now to be able to comb through all of the dozens of emails each day. Guest guest
I use Outlook Express, I have Filters and Folders set up for my , they get sorted by group, so they're in their own folder and I can catch up on them without interference to any other emails.Couldn't do any other way Re: [low dose naltrexone] Technical question about this group I have a specific email account for groups. Guest guest
Daria-- Like Larry, I use email filters to put all my LDN group emails into one mailbox by itself. I handle all of my groups that way. As Jaxi mentioned, another option would be for you to change you setting for the group (use the link at the bottom of each email that says " change settings via the web " ) to " no mail " and just read the group at the website. One other option would be to go to the Digest version, in which case you would just get one or two long emails a day that contain all the emails put together. I find Digest forms harder to read and enjoy though. And the Digest emails would still clutter your Inbox. To look at the filter feature in your email program, it's probably on the menu across the top for " Tools " and then " Filters " , or something like that. I use Eudora so can't be a lot of help on other programs. -- At 04:27 PM 2/26/2011, you wrote: >I use Outlook Express, I have Filters and Folders set up for my >groups, they get sorted by group, so they're in their own folder and I can >catch up on them without interference to any other emails. > >Couldn't do any other way > Re: [low dose naltrexone] Technical question about this group > >I have a specific email account for groups.
