Guest guest
>How about a couple of Croissan'wiches and a couple > of bags of hashrounds? Now STOP THAT!! Too many of us here have weirdly wired brains, and when we see something, we WANT IT, no matter how bad it is for us. I'm still stalling making my breakfast because those eggs & cheese are really calling out to me. In fact, I think I heard them beating up the box of oatmeal a few minutes ago, which is why I haven't dared go near the kitchen yet. >I just looked only 2 starch and 3 proteins, but the > fat.... 6 of em PER sandwich and to think I could eat 2 or 3 of the > dang things... Like me and my Big Macs. MMmmmmm! Big Macs (aarrggghhhhh - drooled in best Homer Simpson's fashion) > not to mention the hashrounds aren't even in the > book! LOL If these are the same as the hash browns in the Burger King nutritional info in the Files section: 1 ea Hash Browns-2.5FA, 1.5B > now just gotta get the sick 3 yr She's *still* running a fever? Guest guest
> <<<Now STOP THAT!! Ok.... I promise to stop!!!! I guess I'm lucky in the fact that I would have to get 2 kids dressed, in the car and then drive 12 miles one way to get anything that I mentioned, and to me.. just isn't worth it. Now if I lived in town where the McD's was less then 3 blocks away I'd be in trouble. Soooo I *promise* here and now.. no more mention of fast food UNLESS it's cuz I ate it. I too am one of those wired strange ones and yep... I should have knowen better... sorry... > > She's *still* running a fever? Any idea what's wrong? > Nope.. no fever, just a cough that appears to be from sinuses draining and I am pretty sure cuz of the yellow stuff in her vomit this morning. I'm pretty sure she puked cuz her tummy was upset from it. Sooo if that Isn't appetizing I don't know what is a
Guest guest
>Now if I lived in town where the McD's was less then 3 > blocks away I'd be in trouble. It's 7, not 3, blocks away. > I too am one of those wired strange ones and yep... I should have > knowen better... sorry... You know I'm just goshin' ya! Well, kinda. Heck, if we all went out and ate every food that was mentioned on this list we'd *all* be a thousand pounds! The purpose of this list is to keep each other from eating those foods we want, or at least offer hints on how to stop at just one. > Nope.. no fever, just a cough that appears to be from sinuses Yes, it's allergy season already. I have my box of Claritan all ready. I'm not sure of the age on it, but they *do* make Claritan Redi-tabs, the ones that aren't even chewable, just melt in your mouth. Henry has a hard time swallowing pills and loves those. It's one of the few things that works on his sinuses, and they work even better than the steroid nasal spray for him. Guest guest
Dear TL, Could you post or link to the letter? And could you clarify on what is misleading? I am not aware of this letter. Guest guest
Ellen, The letter can be found at: http://ilads.org/press_09_07.html What concerned me most about this letter was the following claim: " A major problem is that Dr. Masur and IDSA refuse to acknowledge the existence of chronic Lyme disease, stating that there is " no convincing published data " to support the existence of this serious chronic illness. IDSA has repeated this mantra despite evidence from more than 19,000 peer-reviewed scientific articles that chronic Lyme disease does in fact exist. " If you would like to find out more about these 19,000 articles and also what is problematic about this claim you can check out: http://www.lymeenigma.proboards104.com/index.cgi?board=treatment & action=display & \ thread=1189896167 There is an in-depth analysis of this claim including an email response from the doctor in question. Guest guest
My Shane is currently in his 4th cast and he also has no improvement. They tell me it's because of his age (he just turned 4 and starting casting at 3 yrs., 4 months.) I am getting frustrated, but VEPTR and growing rods are not something that I want for him. I'm hoping that we'll see some improvement. However, I am told that no progression is just as good. But, I don't know if I'm told that to make me feel better? Guest guest
Our son's curve worsened while in his first cast. He measured 32* right after the cast was applied, and 57* right before it was taken off. We were told that the goal was to just keep pushing it back, and pushing it back. He's down to 21* in the current cast (#4) and we're hoping for lower numbers next week when it's changed. Just keep on keepin' on! -Patrice On 10/07/2011 1:09 PM, Haws wrote: My daughter Noelle got out of her first cast today and is going back Tuesday for cast number two.
