Dear Carolyn:

I read this to my girl friend and she is so happy you shared this. She =

is supposed to get out of the care center she is in sometime from mid to =

late October, so she cannot try any medications they do not give her =

until them. But, meanwhile, she wanted me to ask you if this was a =

prescription or over the counter, and how much dosage you used and for =

how long in your case did you use it. This will give her some idea =

perhaps of what she could do. Yours is the only response we have =

received about this for a long time - so she is very grateful to you for =

sharing. [Another unusual thing about her is that SOMETIMES, if she is =

totally absorbed in an activity (with her mother, for example) that =

takes her attention away from herself, she will not notice any problem =

until after she is done and back to thinking about her symptoms.]

Let us know about these questions if you can. She sure would appreciate =

it. I personally thank you for sharing...her great fear is that when =

she gets out she isn't going to be able to handle this head problem.

My dr put me on prescription migraine medication - it did nothing but =

make me more tired - the ONE medication that did help was Advil Migraine =

- I did not make the connection between pressure and a migraine - its =

so hard to describe - but let me try - at times I felt like my mouth was =

pulled back like the Joker on Batman and Robin lol - that sounds so =

stupid - the pressure in the lower part of the back of my head was =

almost unbearable - I just wanted to pull my head off!!! It almost drove =

me crazy.. It really did. Im so sorry your friend is suffering from =

this horrible disease - tell her to hang in there - it will pass.
