Guest guest
That is the way I take the ldn and have not had any adverse reactions. I started at 4.5 and remain there since 11/2009SterlingFrom: callimico66 <callimico66@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Liquid LDN: what's your method of taking it?low dose naltrexone Date: Tuesday, February 1, 2011, 5:33 AM I take mine directly from the baby-medicine syringe into my mouth---holding it there and absorbing it before swallowing. Started LDN Dec 25 '10 and just increased to 2 and then 3 mg. BUT, I am getting a bit of a reaction from the increase (read my "weird feelings" post from yesterday). I'm thinking my method is causing the LDN to go directly into my blood stream--sublingually. That may be OK once I've adjusted to the higher dose, but maybe it would be better to mix that dose into some water and drink it---to dilute it. Any opinions on this? Guest guest
I don't think you need to dilute it, but I would just swallow it. Follow with some water/juice if you don't like the taste. Guest guest
I put mine in a tablespoon or two of unsweetened cranberry juice (because that covers the taste nicely) add a bit of water, and down it. I don't like the taste, don't want to have to anticipate the taste each day. But however you choose to do it is fine. Yes, dosing is considered to be from the stomach, not sublingual. I'd go to stomach absorption. -- 13 months on LDN, 12 months on the iodine protocol So much better with fibromyalgia and Hashi's >I don't think you need to dilute it, but I would just swallow it.
