****Initial tick bite on a 5 yr old - Any information or testimonies for Dad to understand the need for serious treatment immediately?

HELP!!!

My friend whose 5 yr old got bit by a tick a couple of weeks ago, was

dismissed by a PA at her pediatrician, then had a fever, etc a week later

now has an appointment Dr , because of a cancellation this Wednesday.

Her husband, who was away when got sick and had not heard about the

problems and complexties of Lyme doesn't think it's necessary to worry about

it " because he looks fine. "

We are looking for articles that will help him understand the problems his

little one will have inthe future if not treated correctly now.

- I'm looking for the articles about the children dying in Missouri of

Ehrilichia.

- I'm looking for articles about people looking back wishing they had

treated their children instead of waiting and watching.

- I am looking for evidence in an article that Lyme Disease and

co-infections can be found in Tennessee - and it doesn't have to be in the

woods.

- I am looking for a parent that may be willing to speak to this boys

Dad to help him understand.

Any other ideas????
