Guest guest
Robynn, on your list where you send out articles, the one about ticks surviving winter confused me. Is this accurate? I thought a tick took a blood meal for a few days, got engorged, then dropped off. This article seems to indicate it can ride around on a warm mammal all winter. If its not attached, how would it do this? It's likely to get dropped off by a human in a shower, or animals in rain or snow. If it is attached, how could it possibly do THAT? It would be feeding for months.
