Guest guest
I sent this reporter a little of my knowlege would anyone else please help educate this person. This might be a way to start but it would be good if more people sent message to these type of reporters. I let them know that this was the fastest growing epidemic in the nation. Please back me up. Sandy Article starts below BRISTOL, Tenn Tick bites are more common, but there is a low risk for Lyme disease in the Tri-Cities region, according to the Centers for Disease Control. The type of tick whose bite can cause the rash is less common in the area. If not treated, Lyme disease can lead to arthritis, including intermittent episodes of swelling and pain in the large joints, facial palsy, motor and sensory nerve inflammation and inflammation of the brain. The most common problem related to ticks comes from southern tick- associated rash illness, caused by the lone star tick. Its bites can cause a rash similar to Lyme disease. The tick is reddish-colored with a yellow or white star-shaped design on its back. Symptoms of southern tick-associated rash illness include an expanding rash with a central clearing. If you develop these symptoms, see a doctor. jwig@... | (276) 645-2518
