This has been an interesting issue so far! We had a doctors office in NY order 1000 copies and ILADS called and ordered 500 copies for their medical convention at the end of the month! Please help us keep spreading the word! Guest guest
The new issue of the PHA is online! www.publichealthalert.org (we have one technical difficulty with page 2 of the actual online paper layout which should resolve by the end of the day.) But you can also view the text only files. This issue includes the following stories: August 2007 Issue Ignore Bartonella and Die Dawn Irons: No Man Left Behind Dana Floyd: Don't be Afraid, Be Informed! PJ Langhoff: Recognizing the Face of Rage in Tick-Borne Illness Mac Mc: Supporters asked to Leave Dr. Hearing Joan Vetter: Faith Factor Forsgren: Focus on Detoxification Increases Likelihood of Longer and Lasting Recovery Antibiotics: A Cause or Cure for Psychosis? An Interview with Moyer, LCSW One Tough Bug: Clostridium Difficile Miss Cumberland County, NJ Makes Lyme Disease Awareness her Pageant Platform New Data Supports Link Between Autism & Lyme Disease CDC Reports Doubling of Lyme Disease Rates Obituaries As always, you can bulk orders of the papers sent to your office or support group, or outreach for just the cost of postage. I can get 44 copies of the paper into a box and the postage fee is $12 per box. You can go to www.publichealthalert.org and click on ORDER BULK ISSUES or even BACK ISSUES. Please pass this information on to your Lyme groups/lists or other chronic illness groups. Many Thanks, Dawn Irons, Editor
