Guest guest
I take the standard 4.5 mg doseIf it's the case that I am not clearing it in the usual 2-4 hour time frame (I take it at 11pm each night), what does that mean, is it an adrenal problem? I can't be the only person who has noticed that opiate related medicines have stopped working in the DAY time. The studies and information say it's only supposed to block it at night but then other sources say to stop taking opiate medicines (during the day I presume) - so if the ldn is supposed to be cleared after the night, why would it still be a problem unless there is some residual blocking affect even later in the day? Why exactly would they even tell you to stop taking those things in general? I can understand not taking opioid based medicine at night, simultaneously canceling out the LDN effect, but what is wrong with taking them during the day (except that they no longer work - which goes against the concept that the LDN is supposed to have cleared out). There is some kind of inconsistency in all this that I don't understand. From: Sanjay Sharma { Mktg. If that is so, why is it that when I took Vicodin for a neck strain in the late afternoon, it did absolutely nothing for my pain. I even took a second, and nada. It seems that the LDN is blocking my opioids even late in the day - so when is my up-regulation of opioids happening? Also today I had a few drinks of alcohol and felt nothing - it makes me feel like the LDN is blocking my opioids around the clock instead of causing a boost after it wears off. How do I know it's actually working to BOOST my opioids if instead it just seems to be blocking them 100% of the time.I got this filled at Irmat so I know it wouldn't be time release.Has anyone noticed this, or thought about what it means? Guest guest
This rule of not taking LDN if you are on narcotics is basically for those who have built up an addiction or dependency to a narcotic, LDN can put you into dangerous withdrawal. The other reason you shouldn't take naltrexone with a narcotic is after surgery, the patient needs the narcotic to work.
