Hi there,

I do not know if this helps or how much land you have, but on Rosie o

Donnell she talks about these chicks that eat tics, that is there food. Kim

Bassinger has them on her land as well. I know this works but you may not

want to deal with them.

Thanks for the suggestion, . Both chickens and guinea fowl are great for

eating ticks. It's not my own property I'm worried about (and we do have

chickens).

Having free-roaming chickens probably isn't an option for my friend, they'd

be coyote food. Her main problem is when she's out camping in the mountains,

anyway. Maybe a chicken on a leash? ;-)

Sheri, thank you for the other Lyme info.

When I was relatively new to this terrible disease I was totally in

the dark regarding Lyme, co-infections and treatment options.

I thought these might be helpfull for people who are looking to learn

more about Lyme and related diseases and treatments.

Three sources of information that I found very helpfull are:

1) Dr. Burrascano's (ILADS www.ilads.org) Diagnostic Hints and

Treatment Guidelines... found at

http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_0905.html

2) Coping with Lyme Disease... by Lang or Everything you need

to know about Lyme Disease... by Vanderhoof-Forschner. These

can be found at Amazon for relatively low prices.

3) This Great group. Robynn is a great List owner who does a

great job of keeping an open mind which allows us to hear many diverse

experiences and treatment options.

The one site I recommend for sharing with your GP doctors is

http://www.ilads.org if they are willing to learn more technical

medical information about this horrible disease.

Regardless of which treatment options you choos please be sure to get

to an expert to guide you on your recovery.

Hope this helps.

Be well,
