One More Small Tale

Dear Fellow Travelers,

As this is a forum, and the sharing of news and ideas is at the vortex of its function, I thought I’d pass along a little story. In August, 2009, 3 months after the definitive DX of MS, I attended a small gathering of H/S classmates. The following month, I began LDN, (4.5) and have taken it since.

Well, fast forward to last Sat. and another small gathering of classmates in our hometown of Gettysburg, Pa., and no less than two separate people stated specifically how much better I looked compared to that day in August. One was a nurse, so, she was well attuned to such things. And, while naturally and obviously pleased to hear this, I can only conclude it is yet another result of the LDN, as I sincerely and honestly do not feel ill or sick. By that I mean that while there is no question I have MS, and am rather disabled in walking effectively, I do continue to maintain that sense of wellness which results from no brain fog, increased energy, virtually no pain, or spasticity, and even enhanced cognition. (fewer senior moments) Thus, I am able to live alone, drive, work, and maintain a quality of life that is still rewarding to a large degree. All without the CRAB drugs, and their horrific side effects. (And, which according to their own literature, only help RRMS anyway)

I share this as one more small tale of hope and progress in the global LDN saga.

Love for all
