Guest guest
I'm overheating quite often lately, but I am menopausal, so that's the reason. Not in your case, I assume? Silvia > > Hi, > I am dealing with the overheating problem and it happens several times a day. I have never been this heat intolerant, is this a side effect of the LDN? Could it be related to Thyroid, maybe I need to be tested to see if my medication needs to be lowered or is this just my immune system turning on? Just wondering. > thank you > > > " Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, " I will try again tomorrow " . Guest guest
An obviously question but are you of menopause age? > > Hi, > I am dealing with the overheating problem and it happens several times a day. Guest guest
I was on LDN for 2 weeks and the overheatings got progressively worse. When I stopped the LDN (because fungus got out of hand), the overheating diminished. I know it isn't from hormones. I do take thyroid hormone, but doubt the heat is from my thyroid going more hypr because I don't have any other hyper thyroid symptoms. I have go think it is from the upregulation of the immune system. Hi, > I am dealing with the overheating problem and it happens several times a day. Guest guest
Hello Angel, You need to provide more information than you did so that people can better help you. Why are you taking LDN, how much are you taking, and how long have you been taking it? When you say " overheating, " do you mean something like hot flashes or are you actually running a fever? > Could it be related to Thyroid, maybe I need to be tested > to see if my medication needs to be lowered That's a definite possibility. Guest guest
I think it's likely that the " overheating " is the classic opiate agonist withdrawal symptom. Having been on and off of opiate pain meds for 10 years now, I recognize what you're describing all too well. - from Maine Sent from my iPhone
