Guest guest
Hi , I know many on this forum have very fixed ideas about when to take LDN. I usually respond privately when this subject is broached because I don't want to get into back and forth discussions. Dr. Zagon, the founder of LDN says you can take it any time of day or night as long as there is a 24 hour interval. There is no circadian rhythm to it. Make sure it is fast acting. I take it in the morning usually around 9:30 am. He also said you can skip a day or more. I tried taking it at night for 6 months but couldn't get good quality sleep which is vital for ones health. I've been on it for 2 and a half years to enhance my immune system and have rarely been sick The two short colds I had didn't activate my asthma. Why take other medications to sleep when taking LDN in the morning does the trick? It is not a good idea to break the capsules in half because you can't get an accurate dosage that way. You may need a lower dose but the best way to find that out is to get an Rx for 1.5mg and double and triple it periodically. Perla
Guest guest
At the LDN-Aware conference in Birmingham/England on the 10th of October there was a lot of talking by Drs Gilhooly and Lawrence and the pharmacist Dickson, that LDN can be taken at any time of the day and at any low dosage. They say that there isn't an ideal dosage, but that this is very individual. Their recommendation was to start very low and then ramp up. Once the body doesn't like a dosage, reduce it by the last increment and that then should be your dosage. All the videos are on the LDN Research Trust website.
