Guest guest
Just a quick update. My husband, SPMS diag 11/2001, has just finished his second month of LDN (1st month at 1.5 mg and 2nd month at 3.0 mg). He got off to a rough start, terrible ramp up of pain, spasticity and what he calls " riding the electric chair " , but after the first few weeks his body seemed to adjust nicely. He's seen an improvement in his energy level and has noticed that a bad day is just that, a bad day when before it could turn into a bad week. He used to have terrible post nasal in the morning and that is all but gone. He's even started exercising again!! Has anyone tried the My MS Yoga dvd? My question is regarding supplements and how/when they should be taken. We will both be adding: ALA – 600 mg Super B Complex Vit C – 1000 mg Co Q-10 – 100 mg Fish Oil – 1000 mg Vit D – 1000iu Calcium – 600mg From reading posts from the group, I see that ALA and the B complex should be taken together (should they be taken on an empty stomach?) We already take the Vit D with lunch every day…other than those I'm not sure which should be taken when and which are ok to take with each other and with/without food. Oh, and should Magnesium also be taken with the Calcium? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks, Sue
Guest guest
The only important thing is ALA on empty stomach.the rest can be with food . ALA should be from a good brand like metabolic maintenance and they have only 300 ,so you can take 2x300 on empty stomach. Th B-complex should be near the ALA and should be only capsules.the B are destroyed in heath.
