Guest guest
I have been a chronic Lyme disease sufferer along with bartonella and erlichia for many many years and was finally diagnosed a year ago with all three illnesses. Since then I have been on antibiotics (IV and oral) and have been getting better slowly. Not only am I taking antibiotics but a plethora of supplements and dietary changes to improve my health. Some supplements have worked, some I have not noticed a change. I realized that everything that I have done to rid myself of these illnesses deals with ingesting items, rest and attitude/spirit. But the one item I think his completely overlooked is how we treat our skin. While I have been sick I have been searching for a skin care product that is ph balanced and organic. If I'm trying to keep my insides ph correct, why am I putting items on my body that are not even close to ph correct or contain an array of unhealthy substances also know to cause cancer? I found in my search that our skin is in fact the largest organ in our body and it absorbs anything you put on it within 25 seconds. Scary! On my quest I have been in many organic stores asking for ph balanced skin products unable to find any that are also organic. One product I did stumble across several months back I started to use and noticed a HUGE improvement of my skin (I have dry skin with Lyme). Of course I was very skeptical of the product from the get go because the company is a pyramid (although my Lyme doc does use supplements for Lyme from companies that sell their products in a pyramid). I signed up with this company, Arbonne, so I could get the `good guy' deal of 35% off original price. Because it's working so well for me and helping me to stay ph balanced I wanted to tell others who are fighting for their health about how important your skin is in the overall picture. I didn't sign up with the sole purpose of making money on selling Arbonne's products, so if any of you want to buy them I will give you my `good guy' discount (plus shipping), or sign up under me to get the `good guy' discount and order for yourself. If you wanted you could pursue this as your own company and gain income for selling something that is healthy. That's a plus since the hundreds of dollars I spend a month on other products I can't get a penny back in return. Also, now that I'm back at work after being on disability I want to look professional and Arbonne has a line of make-up products. Of course not everyone wears make-up but with all the chemicals most companies use and don't disclose it was another reason for me to invest in Arbonne's products. They do have a line of nutrients/supplements. I have not used these and don't plan to while my doc is suggesting specific nutrients/supplements she recommends. It's just another option if interested. All of Arbonne's products are ph balanced, botanically based, organic, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, never tested on animals and kosher. I'm not trying to pitch a sale, but rather give you some of my experience of a product line that I have found beneficial in my healing process of Lyme, bartonella and erlichia. Healthy healing!
