Guest guest
I have 3 in my family with Lyme, and no one seems to be getting better. We've done antibiotics, Samento, other herbal treatments. Has anyone been cured or significantly improved? What works? Bernie
Guest guest
The three in our family all had chronic lyme & babesosis. We are in MA. We absolutely followed what our lyme doc told us..... Myself (Brigham & Women's said I had Atypical MS and I was to go on steroids --) I was on 2 yrs. of abx -- the first year being IV as well as orals. My husband-- went after his heart & some neuropathy as well -- 2 yrs. of orals. Our daughter, then early 20s -- 9 mos of orals. We took all the supplements he recommended....... Keeping fingers crossed -- it worked. We were treated 2005 & 2006. Bill & I turned 60 last year. The abx took care of all of his lyme type symptoms but Dartmouth - Hitchcock finally straightened his heart out -- 24/7 Atrial Fib. I believe that the treatment must be intense and you must stay with it. Our lyme dr., now in NYC, saved our lives I feel. When I hear people talk of 2-3 mos. as long term I cringe--- I do not feel that is nearly long enough. Good luck and email me directly if you want. Sue M. Guest guest
Artemisinin didn't seem to do anything for me. Antibiotics just about destroyed my stomach, so had to quit them after two months. It was the herbs recommended in the Healing Lyme book by Harrod Buhner, that worked for me. I have been on his herbs for about three years now. I am on a low maintenance herbal regimen now. It works for me. I am at about 90 to 95% and was near death in fall of 2005. ANd I am 67 years old so age is against me too. Jim. ### > > Hi Sue, > > My son has been treated for lyme and babesia for 2 1/2 years now and he > still has symptoms.
