Guest guest
I've been going through amalgam removal to help get rid of the mercury toxicity. I have mitral valve prolapse, and in the past I've been given antibiotics prior to dental work. I was told that this protocol is no longer necessary by the dentist, and my ND confirmed this. The ND advised that I take goldenseal prior to and for 3 days after each amalgam removal appointment. Each time I've done this I've not felt well at all. Extreme fatigue, muscle aches, joint pain and depression, all increased over what I normally experience. Also some swollen glands and sinus congestion, and last night, problems with sleep. I thought after my first dental appointment that perhaps I was in a herx from the goldenseal, and I've just come through another appointment and the symptoms are even worse. I have one more appointment to finish up amalgam removal. I've not started treating the lyme yet, as the doctor has told me that I needed to address the heavy metal toxicity first. Could I be in a herx from the goldenseal? Thanks.
