Guest guest
The only testing I've had for metals was with a chinese vibrational computer thing! It said I had a problem with nickel. Don't know about the mercury but I do have several fillings, one of which I had removed a few years ago. I should have a hair test but I heard also that that wasn't reliable either! I don't remember why. Shoot, I don't know, I should! I've decided to give (sell) plasma because I'm broke, and I figure if they separate the blood from the plasma, then even if there's something wrong with the blood, the plasma will be okay. I just hope it doesn't screw up my immunity, but we'll try it and see. 50 bucks for an hour and a half is pretty good pay. Thanks, ________________________________ From: Eva <qlebanon@...> candidiasis Sent: Fri, August 27, 2010 3:06:31 PM Subject: Re: donating blood  I have mercury poisoning and subsequently candida. I don't donate blood because of the mercury poisoning. Have you been tested for heavy metals (urine or hair testing). blood testing does not work on adults. ________________________________ From: Myslis <smyslis1@...> candidiasis Sent: Fri, August 27, 2010 2:43:01 PM Subject: donating blood Does anyone know if there's any reason why someone with candida shouldn't donate blood? Guest guest
Where the heck do you live? My son and daughter-in-law give plasma and only get $25-35. Guest guest
I live in No. Illinois, but the $50 is only good for the first two donations, and then it goes down to about 30. But they turned me down because my hematocrit percentage was low! So I'm taking iron to get it up. I thought my anemia had improved but guess not. ________________________________ From: SYLVIA PRICE <LadyofYorkies@...> candidiasis Sent: Thu, September 9, 2010 1:55:08 PM Subject: Re: donating blood  Where the heck do you live? Guest guest
Lifesouth is at my work today and I usually give blood, but I am on 3.5mg of LDN for RRMS. They say its ok, has anyone had any experiences with donating blood while on LDN?? Thanks !!
Guest guest
I don't give blood because I have a diagnosis of CFS and there is some evidence CFS is infectious. If my diagnosis were RRMS, I would not give blood either. W. Ewald has predicted that most chronic diseases are caused by infections (see also Torrey and Yolken, and a recent article in The Economist about toxoplasmosis) and Wheldon cites evidence that probably much MS is caused by infections. (He also developed an antibiotic protocol to treat it.) Hopefully LDN will help your immune system to root out whatever infections you may have.Dave G.http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/ms-treatment.html On Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 8:46 AM, crylea <crylea@...> wrote: Lifesouth is at my work today and I usually give blood, but I am on 3.5mg of LDN for RRMS. Guest guest
i agree!!! I think it would be rude to subject to anyone any part of what we have . If they get blood its because they are sick so why make it worseOn Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 1:03 PM, uxordepp <jprocure@...> wrote: Personally, I would not give blood for any reason with the illnesses we have. Guest guest
Actually, it is a new directive in the U.S. as of last fall for CFS patients not to give blood (for blood banks not to take it) because of the discovery of a new gamma retrovirus XMRV (xenotrophic murine [mouse] leukemia-like retrovirus). HIV is a gamma retrovirus. HTLV (Japan, I think) is also a gamma retrovirus causing leukemia. Ya'll can do a search for this. Univ. of Nevada in Reno researchers found XMRV in over 96% of CFS patients whose blood was preserved by Dr. Dan , Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The NIH met last fall re: CFIDS & XMRV. I'm awaiting test results. They don't yet know if it CAUSES CFIDS nor for sure how to treat it, but AIDS cocktail supposedly works. There are too many unknowns for unhealthy people to give blood. I think we need to adopt the "do no harm" pledge.
