Guest guest
Dear Fellow Travelers: I have a question, and since I trust the collective knowledge and experience here than any doctor, I pose it to the group. I was scheduled for a lipotripsy procedure for kidney stones yesterday, and was a bit distressed to learn they want to use general anesthesia. My malady is MS, and I seem to be doing well on LDN, (over a year now). My concern stems from a surgical procedure I had in 2001, (my first ever at age 50), where I was under general. Well, in the months after, I experienced dizzy spells, and what I recognize now, (but was missed then), as early signs of MS. It may be coincidental, but after the first time ever under general anesthesia, I noticed changes. Of course, current doc says no worries, but I simply do not trust the medical folks, and after a problem, I am SOL. Thus, any feedback would be most welcomed, with my profound thanks and appreciation. Dave in Pa.
