Guest guest
Colette-- I also have Hashi's, had adrenal fatigue but that has vastly improved. Recommend the iodine protocol in addition to LDN, see the Iodine mailing list on . I'm so much better than I was. -- t 10:59 AM 11/26/2010, Colette wrote: > I want to start ldn for hashis and: > >1. Guest guest
Start low at 1.5 mg .do it at least 2 weeks ,if after 2 weeks you are stable and not hyper you can raise ldn. If you feel hyper ,you can lower the thyroid hormone and not ldn I am using the Free version of SPAMfighter.SPAMfighter has removed 1525 of my spam emails to date.Do you have a slow PC? Guest guest
Collette, I also have Hashimoto's besides other autoimmune issues. I've been on LDN (take at night between 9-11 DST) for about a year. So far I have had to reduce my thyroid (I was taking 130mg Nature-Throid) once and am having my thyroid tested again soon. It's good to get it tested every 3-4 mos when you're on LDN. As you may know, normally when starting thyroid meds the long-term prognosis is to stay on it forever and that eventually you will have to increase the mg. you're taking. This is the first time I've been able to decrease my meds. I do take other suppls to help the thyroid and energy levels. But I attribute the decrease in meds to LDN. My energy levels have also increased. I hope you have similar success. Rhonda > > I want to start ldn for hashis and: > > 1. I will be doing a saliva test for adrenals within the month (need to be off hc for 2 weeks and I find that very difficult). Antibodies tested positive multiple times for hashis over the years. I suspect that my vitamin D will still be low and that my adrenals are not 100%, based on my symptoms. Also, I would be very interested in hearing from others with similar histories how ldn worked for them. > > Thank you :-) > > Colette >
