Hi all.

I'm looking for some links to information on following a gluten and casein free

diet while on LDN therapy. I'm more interested in the biochemical side and how

gluten and casein avoidance is complementary to LDN therapy.

I'm a Dietitian so have a clear understanding how to avoid it but could use some

help understanding how gluten/casein have mild opiate like effects and how this

may influence LDN therapy. I also appreciate how gluten and or casein avoidance

in a clinical setting for specific conditions can have hugely beneficial effects

but my understanding in conjunction with LDN therapy is vague.

I have been taking LDN for approx 3 months and enjoyed some benefits early on

but these diminished some what recently when I increased from 3ml to 3.5ml

liquid LDN. I believe I have also had ongoing Candida Albican issues which I

continue to tackle through diet and meds. I decided to drop my dose back 3ml a

few days ago and the flu symptoms, palpitations and wired feelings have eased a

little.

I also decided to give gluten/casein free a go 5 days ago but lapsed this

morning at my local Costa. On the whole I have experienced less pain for the

last few days but after a cake and latte have had incredible pain and I'm

starting with a migraine and have some nausea. Could be a coincidence, time

will tell but now I have gone back to gluten/casein free.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Is it normal to feel so ill after only a short

time of gluten/casein avoidance?

I have posted this in the FMS group also as this CFS/FMS is my primary

diagnosis.

Many thanks everyone, hope this emails finds you well (ish)

Regards

le
