Guest guest
At night when I take the naltrexone my heart starts to beat all weird. I fall asleep and then wake up to my heart frantically skipping beats like it forgot to keep beating. I have been using amitryptiline (elavil) to sleep and it does help a lot. At first I thought it was the elavil causing the skipped heart beats, but last night I took the naltrexone (3mg) and no elavil and I had the worst heart palpitations of my life. I just layed in bed for 6 hours and dealt with it, it sucked though. I am a 24 year old male and am taking the ldn for fibromyalgia type symptoms that are causing my thyroid to make too much rt3 and my adrenals to not work properly. I started taking 1 grain armour thyroid the same morning that I started taking ldn that night. Anyways, my plan is to take more elavil to knock me out, and lower the naltrexone to 2mg. Also, I am thinking to just go up to 4mg on the naltrexone and keep it there. I am hoping the heart palpitations are transient and short term side effects. I know people report insomnia at start up, and you just have to work through it. I am ok with that, its just very obvious my body gets very reactive to the ldn.
