Maybe it's just my imagination but I seem to feel better already and seem to have less fatigue. I preferred it also to oral abx which I am on now. While I had a lot of new symptoms on Rocephin I have had no exacerbations on Ketek & Amox combined for over a month now. How many g are you on? I was on 1g/1xday. I had to go and have the dressing changed once a week and CBC done also. In spite of all this treatment I continue to test positive with IgM antibodies. A home IV nurse comes in every few days to change my dressings, etc. Testing poitive for antibodies is not really an indicator of active infection or the reverse. Your body will continue prducing antibodies long after the LD is (hopefully) gone.
