Some people's need goes down, others don't. I have not, yet I feel so much better than I did. Follow the instructions under the CAUTIONS on the www.ldninfo.org website for dosage, which is to say start at 1.5mg/day, wait a couple weeks, move to 3.0mg/day, couple weeks later move the 4.5mg/day. Starting low allows observation for whether you'll need to lower your thyroid dose. The instructions are that if there is a " hyper " reaction under the LDN, to continue the LDN and lower the thyroid dose, since that's the goal (some people wonder if they should stop the LDN). I went undiagnosed for more than 10 years and was extremely ill when finally got help, I think people who are younger and haven't been ill as long may have a better response. But my point is, there is no standard response that you can point at. However, if there is going to be a response, it is generally thought that it will happen early on, which is why the caution about ramping up the dose. I guess I still have hope my situation could change over time. hope this helps, -- At 11:18 AM 9/30/2010, you wrote: >Hello everyone, > >I wish I had found out about LDN many years ago.
