The canidida wellness center was one of the first books that I read to help me understand this condition. I didnt order from them but I did follow their outline for vitamins. I then read the yeast connection which totally helped me. That is how I came across this group which is very informative and supportive. Good luck CAM
Guest guest
I was unable to conceive and was married to my high-school sweetheart. The seventh year into our marriage we adopted. We were given a baby boy. He was 15 months old when we got him. We had him five months and because of what I am going to tell you I left my husband and gave up the baby. My husband refused to finish the adoption and I was not able to keep him on my own. However I did after Six weeks and getting my settlement check from the sell of one of the two houses we owned I rushed home with the check in my hand and called social services. " Oh, Millie I was just thinking about you, " my heart leaped into the sky, " I just placed in his new adoptive home " . She took a knife and shoved it into my heart. I stood there while she told me all the things I had six weeks earlier told her about his likes and dislikes. How they had placed him in a home where there were a dog and cat he loved them. He was in a neighborhood with lots of children. He loved other kids. His first word was Nanise for the girl who baby sat him. Not mom or dad, Nanise. My husband of eleven years as we met when 16 and 17 had gone through many changes. He had gone all the way to a Masters in Business and went to work at Union Bank as a VP right out of college. When the rest of us discovered alcohol he was the only one who did not drink. He was an Eagle Scout one of my first clues something was very wrong. This guy was just too good. Plus he was a Senior in High School when he was being given the Eagle Scout award and he and his father standing on the stage in their scout uniforms. My next major clue was he became a major clothes horse. He began working in a very exclusive men's clothing store. He wore his slacks pulled way up on his waist and hung his private parts off to one side. When we married he had no less than fifty $50 dollar cotton dress shirts, silk ties, at least 25 custom made suits. You get the picture. Five months into this adoption he had moved us out to the country, were I was isolated and lonely. He was hanging out with two gay men in town and coming home with the black interior of his car covered with the long hair of the Afghan dog one of the two gay men he knew. He would pull up and there would be pot ashes all over his front of his shirt. Oh he had quit his job at the bank and was studying to be a Realtor. He had put pot plants all over the yard. I was being visited monthly by social services and I was placing coffee cans over the pot plants and hoping I could keep occupied long enough he would not walk over and uncover one of the plants. I refused to smoke and showed great disdain for my husbands actions but that was not the problem. I knew when I put my foot down things would change. No the real problem revealed itself on a camping trip we took. I was holding in my lap and giving him his bottle while Al got the tent set up. He came over and started putting his elbow between 's legs rubbing against him. I jumped up and went into the tent. I was pissed but confused. What had I just witnessed. We came home and the next day we went thru our daily ritual. Mommy gave his bath and got him ready for bed. Daddy took and his bottle and toy Teddy Bear music box and took to his crib in his room. Normally I would have sat on the coach and waited for Al to return and we would watch The Walton's or Tyler and go to bed. Not that night. I slipped around the corner to the swinging doors and slipped into the bedroom where Al was standing over in his crib. was lying on his back holding his bottle staring up at Al. Al had 's Teddie Bear between 's legs and was rubbing him with the Teddie Bear. I came unglued. I came up in his face and asked what the devil he thought he was doing. He said, " He likes it " . I said, " I don't care what he likes, you stop and If I catch you doing it again you are dead. " I packed a diaper bag the next day and left. The following Monday we were at Social Services giving back. I could not tell them what had happened as I could not believe it myself. I have not gotten feed back from many people on this story as it is one which is very hard to tell. What do any of you think about what my husband was doing to . Pedophile is what I would call it. Guest guest
---yes, it is pedophile. Sorry. I worked in the psych field for a long time and with sex offenders. Sometimes, there is no reason as to why someone becomes a sex offender-I think it is genetic and sometimes they were abused or witnessed abuse. Guest guest
Hi All, How many of you are using the salt/C protocol? It seems to be helping many people. I have not been off of abx since 1993 and have been on IV abx many times as well. Now I am on IV rocephin for quite a long time and was also on IV zithro too but stopped due to cost, it isn't covered. I just posted for the first time about a week or so ago, I'm the one who has had a fever for 3 straight years. I couldn't be on my IV for almost a month because of a mix-up with the pharmacy (and the rocephin which should be covered) but was on oral zithro with my mepron and bicillin injections. I didn't " crash " but seem to have more pain and head pressure. My PICC got infected and now my LLMD wants another one so I can continue rocephin. As anyone who has been sick (except for almost 2 wonderful years but I returned to work and had surgery and relapsed) for so long, sometimes I wonder if doing even more IV will help. It did help in the beginning but I came to a standstill. I am going to see a LL infectious disease MD soon upon the advice from my LLMD because of this ongoing fever. I sure hope he finds something, anything that is causing this, it is so debilitating. I take many supplements, detox and even tried silver that made me feel like I was going to die in only 4 days of 1 tsp a day. I have had terrible herxes, head blowing off, vomiting just horrible but this was bt far the absolute worst thing I ever endured. My LLMD said that some people just cannot take it, that it makes them very sick. I will not ever take that again. Prayers and thanks to all. Love, Helen
Guest guest
The Salt/ Vit C protocol website says not to do the protocol if you are also taking antibiotics as it is dangerous to mix the two. > > Hi All, > How many of you are using the salt/C protocol? Guest guest
I know that are some folks in the Lyme Natural Health Care group who have used the salt/C protocol: lyme-naturalhealthcare/? yguid=117289401 Jessie > > Hi All, > How many of you are using the salt/C protocol? Guest guest
Hi Helen, I am a lurker on the Salt/c list and have seen some folks reporting they are tremendously better with the protocol. I started abx and salt/c at the same time and got really sick in Sept, so I will postpone the salt/c protocol until after I am done with abx. I'm sorry you are suffering. It is so frustrating to lose a job/life to this disease particularly if you are a caregiver type. My LLMD has me taking transfer factor and I recently discovered I was not taking enough of it. Fatigue is my biggest problem and he has all his CFS patients on it. (www.immunitytoday.com-Immune Care 64) Once I doubled the dosage, I saw improvements. I still have the low grade fevers, but not lasting as long and have more energy. I am hoping to maintain part-time status at work. Wishing you and your family the best, cooky > > Hi All, > How many of you are using the salt/C protocol? It seems to be helping > many people.
