Guest guest
Allyssa, The proper human diet is a highly carnivorous one, which is high in good natural saturated fats (like butter, lard, eggs, etc.) With systemic candida, you would be very wise to drop the brown rice and green apples; These are foods that will directly feed the candida beast. 'Sugar is sugar is sugar,' it doesn't matter what form. Apples are loaded with fructose, and most candida sufferers will struggle with fructose malabsorption, where it, along with the fiber, goes on undigested and feeds pathogenic organisms in the gut (e.g. candida). I would also suggest lowering the amount of vegetables you're ingesting. Fiber is a bad dude, especially for those with candida issus, IMO. I cannot tolerate fibrous foods, especially veggies. I have similar bloating and abdominal distension issues as you do and find that a no-fiber diet is best for me. I am a complete carnivore and eat only animal products, this way nothing escapes to feed the nasties living in my intestinal tract. Also, ionized water will not regulate the pH in your body. Acid/alkaline balancing in your body via foods and beverages is a complete myth that is continually perpetuated by vegetarians and vegans and, IMO, you aren't accomplishing anything by drinking ionized water. You cannot alkalize your body by drinking or eating alkaline foods. There is at least one article in the files section that addresses this. I'm very sorry that you are experiencing such problems and wish you improvement, for sure! I would highly recommend you review the main article in the files section, How to Successfully Overcome Candida By Bee Wilder, which outlines Bee's diet, supplement, and candida busting plan in detail. There are other supplemental articles littered in the files section that should be helpful for you. Bee's diet program is centered upon animal foods and focuses on making sure you are getting plenty of quality, natural saturated fats, including coconut oil and butter, which have antimicrobial qualities that help to fight against candida and boost the immune system. Really dig around and take in all of the articles and files in the files section -- they will answer a lot of your questions. Please try to read all of the required articles and files prior to posting questions, as they usually address the majority of questions people have. Guest guest
Hi Allyssa, Welcome to the group. has given you some good pointers. The best is to READ the information that was sent to you when you joined the group. Bee's candida plan is unlike other candida diets and the article sent to you will explain it all and lay everything out, step by step. This diet relies on high protein, low carb veggies and high, good saturated fats. Fruits and grains are not recommended nor are " cleansing " products. Wormwood is also not recommended. Your bloating is definitely a symptom of a candida problem. If you're concerned about it being anything else it is always wise to see a doctor to rule out other possibilities. For help with digestion you should eat a tablespoon of unpasteurized saurkraut with meals to aid digestion. Some people also need the addition of degestive enzymes. Even though you are already on a " candida diet " , it obviously needs some " tweaking " so it will work more effectively for you. This plan may be exactly what you're looking for. At our group website (where you signed up for the group) we have a whole slew of articles written and/or compiled by Bee and a few others in the group. These articles will answer most any question you could come up with related to candida. Take some time to peruse the " Files " section of our group site. There's tons of info here and we're here to help answer your questions once you've read the " getting started " articles. jackie > > My name is allyssa.I have had a systemic yeast infection for about 2 > yrs now, but in the last six months I have really gotton serious with > it. <snip>

Welcome to our group. I have been taking pro biotics, Vita Klenz and other antiseptic > herbs (Garlic, Oregeno, wormwood). I also had purchased a water > ionizer (to regulate the ph in my body). I drink over a gallon of > water a day and eat all organic. My diet consists of veggies, chicken and very minimal grains and fruits(brown rice, green apples). Still I can't manage to shake it! I even do enimas and am a very physical fit person. ==>Please read articles about why regulating pH in your body isn't possible nor important - see our Group's Files for the C) Acidity/Aklalinity Folder. Be cautious about taking wormwood if you could possibly get pregnant. You can " try to " take too much at one time, i.e. garlic plus oregano, which isn't necessary. Only one antifungal product is necessary along with coconut oil per my diet. ==>Don't try to drink " too much water " , which can cause problems by itself - see our Group's Files for C) Water for more information. Minerals are most important along with water, which I recommend in my Electrolyte Drink. You will find after reading about my diet that grains and fruits feed candida so that may be the reason you can't shake candida. In order to cure candida you need to build up your immune system with diet plus supplements, so it will " make " candida change back into the friendly organism it is supposed to be in the body. ==>It is also extremely important to eat high good fats that I recommend which aid digestion, heal and strengthen the digestive system, help the body chelate out heavy metals and other toxins, etc. They also provide the best energy source for the body compared with carbs. That's why this program works so well, because of the high good fats. > Now I am having stomach issues that I thought was candida but am not quite sure? I get extremely bloated, it looks like I am 6 mnth > pregant! It feels like something is pushing from inside my stomach, it really Hurts and makes me feel nausiated! It just amazes me that one min. I am a hundred pound girl with abs and suddenly I have this hudge gut that is extremely unconfortable and than in a few hours or so it will go back normal again. I have'nt heard anything like it! I would> LOVE for someone to shine some light on the situation! ==>The reason you are bloated is because candida puts out carbon dioxide (gas) when it is overgrowin and while it is being killed off. Candida sufferers must take Betaine Hydrochloric acid per my article to improve their digestion along with the diet and other supplements recommended. Everything works together so do not leave out any supplements. I hope that helps, Bee

What is gastritis and reflux, esophagitis... ==>Allyssa, gastritis, acid reflux and esophagitis are all caused by the same thing which is low stomach acid. The symptoms for high stomach acid are exactly the same, so doctors are misdiagnosing the cause. All candida sufferers have low stomach acid so taking Betaine hydrochloric acid tablets and/or eating 1-2 tbl of good unpasteurized sauerkraut along with this diet plus supplements is important. For more information see my main candida article (2nd folder in the Group's Files) and also see the C) Digestion Folder. Bee
Guest guest
Dear Bee, I´m very confused, if there is a test in the files to see if one have too much or too little acid in the stomach, and I did it, then why you think I have low acidity ? Also, when the endoscopy was performed they saw lots of acid inside my stomach. In fact, if you had the opportunity to read my mail, the baking soda in my empty stomach cause me too much pain, I think because of the amount of salt. And even when I stop taking it I´m still in a horrible pain, same as when I had a wound in my esophagus. The pain is there. And is too sharp I can´t even think clearly with such a pain. The horrible pain you feel is probably re-tracing previous episodes with the wound in your esophagus. When your stomach has enough hydrochloric acid it keeps the valve to the esophagus closed so that anything in the stomach cannot irritate it. I understand your reluctance to believe you have low stomach acid, but recently a friend of mine decided to " bite the bullet " and start taking HCl tablets and he's amazed that he doesn't get any esophagus symptoms and that his stomach has settled down so well. He's take 8 capsules (4 in the middle of his meal & 4 just after). Guest guest
I was actually told this by a GI doctor some years ago. My regular doctor had me on one of those proton-pump inhibitor medicines to reduce stomach acid, and the GI doctor told me I actually had LOW stomach acid and had me taking HCl tablets. That helped far more than the Protonix or whatever it was. So I guess a few of them do know something. :-) Zack On Thu, 30 Aug 2007, Bee wrote: > > ==>Claudina, I really believe it will help you a lot of you do the 9- > day program. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Welcome to the group! Every kid is so different – my son’s OCD has nothing to do with dirt. He’s perfectly okay with dirt, but still has his own brand of OCD. It’s so particular to each child. What medication was your daughter on? Did it help at the time? If not, did her doc recommend or try any others? My son has been taking Luvox since last summer, started really low and slow, and finally went up to 300 mg per night. He’s a teenager, and the dosage is maxed out, but it’s really helped him, more than I can say. We were fortunate that the first med his doctor prescribed was the one that worked for him, and I know that’s the exception. Often, OCD will only come out at home because that’s their safe place. So many eyes on them at school, often they’re just too scared to let people they don’t know well see it. I think that it may be more of an issue for girls, too. I remember as a girl, I was terribly concerned about what people at school thought about me, and let all my unpleasantness out at home because it was my safe place. In my son’s case, it came out at school, too, because he just didn’t have that much control over it. (And I think maybe some boys don’t have that same concern…but I could be wrong!) It sounds like the teacher doesn’t know much, if anything, about OCD. The OCD Foundation has a great booklet, available on their website for download, too, that teaches the teachers about OCD. Slowness is completing work is a hallmark of students with OCD, and in so many cases, the kid is able to get a modified curriculum through an IEP (individualized education program) or 504 plan (similar) that allows them extra time *without penalty* to complete work, or to take tests over several days. Good luck to you – this group is a Godsend. Best… _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of conniemarie67 Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 12:07 PM Subject: Please Help! My daughter has OCD. She is 9 years old. She was on meds, but I took her off last year because I didn't want her on it. The OCD wasn't bothering her at school. Well, this year when she started back at school, she has gotten worse and now at school it's really bad. She won't hold her paper with her left hand cause she keeps it in her pocket to keep it " clean " . At home, she can't eat near anyone if they're talking because they are " spitting " in her food. so the teachers were kinda helpful at first, until last weekend we had a school festival at school and my daughter was playing in the dirt and the teacher saw that and now says she's making up being afraid of germs because she was playing in dirt. I asked my daughter why playing in the dirt didn't bother her, and she said because she didn't think anyone " spit " there. Now the teacher has even made her stay after school cause she was too slow to finish a work sheet, and she seems rude now. does playing in the dirt mean my daughter dosen't have ocd? If so, then why is she constantly washing her hands and not using the bathroom at school ALL DAY EVERY DAY, and keeping her left hand clean and worring about people spitting? I'm trying to understand too i guess, and i'm asking the forum to see if any of your children ever do something like this out of the ordinary (like the dirt thing)for kids with OCD. The 504 lady said they could keep her after school for no homework, but not for any other work. Well, they did yesterday! and i found that out after they kept her. If they try it again, I will say no! I just didn't want to start anything because they all seem to take up for each other (teachers and principals) I am so upset with this school and teachers, but the other school here is much worse, and I can't afford private school or home schooling. About the meds, she was on prozac and it was helping, but I got afraid of everyone telling me about side effects, that is why i stopped it. I do have an appointment next week to get her back on it cause I'm desperate now. I wish I would have never took her off and I feel really bad about that.
