My sister's son was diagnosed with Crohns disease at 3 & they have tried many things....SCD diet, cutting out dairy & gluten, etc. But the thing that has put him into remission (he is now 6) is the Enteral Nutrition....it is not widely known about or used in the US, but it involves using this liquid supplement (like formula or breastmilk) to put children & adults into remission & then they eat normal foods after for a period of time & then go back to enteral nutrition if/when crohns symptoms start to come back or flare up again. My nephew has been using this type of therapy for just over 2 years now & they were able to wean him off all his western meds (steroids & 6mp) just by using this liquid supplement. Its interesting because all the doctors that they went to would

never admit that this disease had anything to do with diet or food, in fact they would insist that my nephew should just eat whatever & that changing his diet would have nothing to do with Crohns. Here's a link to a blog about beating crohns with Enteral nutrition....http://www.crohns-news.net/ From: "harleysc@..." <harleysc@...> Vaccinations Sent: Monday, June 11, 2012 8:33 AM Subject: Re: Crohn's Disease
