Guest guest
Dear group, I have been on LDN since July 1st. Because of my hypo thyroid i had to start on a low dose of 1.5mg for a month, then the second month 3 mg and the 3rd month 4.5. I have not felt any better. I have RA. I am still taking 5 mg of Prednisone. I try to take my prednisone at 8pm and then my LDN at 10-11pm. I just hope the Prednisone isn't counteracting the LDN. I am thinking i just need to be patient until i get to the 4.5mg of LDN and then i will fill better. Any body have similar experience?? Thanks for your help. Thanks, The New Busy is not the too busy. Guest guest
- you have been taking it since July 1st of LAST year? Or since july 1st this year and upped it after each week? Just looking for clarification as it will impact responses. Jaxi On Mon, Jul 26, 2010 at 10:52 PM, Nichols <arcticbec@...> wrote: Dear group, I have been on LDN since July 1st. Guest guest
Gotcha ... okay so you have only been on it for 3 weeks at a very low dose. Yep, that'd be my answer. I wouldn't expect to see a lot of changes in the RA yet. It probably is smart to titrate up slowly in light of your thyroid condition though since many do seem to need to make dose adjustments to thyroid meds after starting LND. Some have even been able to go off thyroid meds. But some have not found this to be true either. For all the overlap we humans are each unique too! From what people have reported here the pred dose is within the limits of being able to be used with LDN and not make the LDN ineffective. Others can speak to that better though. Good luck and peave to you, Jaxi On Tue, Jul 27, 2010 at 3:29 PM, Nichols <arcticbec@...> wrote: Hi Jaxi, just since this month (2010), so i've only been on 1.5mg for 3 weeks...in August i will go on 3mg and then in September i will go on 4.5mg.....i probably just need to be patient. arcticbec@...CC: low dose naltrexone From: jaxi.schulz@...
