Guest guest
I have been struggling with my family about the fact that they believe that the LDN results are not showing a complete picture because of the lack of hard scientific evidence and that they believe that only good news is posted on the LDN site. While talking to a doctor at Mayo clinic today asking for those same results for chemotherapy patients - she explained that because the medications change so quickly in the oncology front, they do NOT have hard numbers on that treatment either. The gold standard is 5-10 years of results to qualify as an accurate scientific study. Furthermore, I suspect that there are many patients with whom they do not do folow up and who die. Therefore it seems like an even playing field as far as the numbers go. I write this to help anyone who may be trying to talk to your doctors re: LDN treatment. If they do not have the numbers on chemo therapy treatment, why would that course be more appropriate than LDN?
