Hi everyone,

I just joined today but I have been a member of the lung cancer support group for a while.

I have lung cancer and with the sugestions of others I started LDN about 2 weeks ago. Since my Onco Doc wouldn't give me a script for it I am mixing my own. I take 4.5mg and I give my wife 3.0mg. We also take ALA.

I am here to learn more about LDN from personal experiences of members here.

Naltrexone only comes in oral form, there is no injectable. In hospitals they use Naloxone for injections, from the same group, but different medication. Oral preparation should never be injected. Injectables are formulated differently, they are sterile and do not have fillers oral medications have. I give my 18 years old cat probiotic capsules using pill pockets. She thinks it is her snack and happily swallows it. If you use liquid, you can buy some empty capsules, put medication in it and cover it with pill pocket. A little complicated but better than scars:-).

Best of luck to you and your cat.

One of my 3 cats has IBS we started to give her .3mg LDN but she really hates it and I have the scars to prove it. My question is: can I inject the ldn subcutaneously? I believe that when naltrexone is administered in the hospital it is injected. Thanks Sterling
