Apple cider vinegar too is high in alkaline. > > That's not exactly true, ; The " alkaline ash foods " like any others must be digested and the alkalizing minerals in them absorbed into the blood and joined with aspartic and then orotic acids for entry into the cells. The whole process relies on three mechanisms excluding the stomach. Although the statements are widely forwarded, I don't know how vinegar or lemon juice can contain enough ash to perform as an alkalizer so to this day I still hesitate to recommend them for that purpose. Guest guest
Hi Nina, Heavens, what a perfect email answer! This has been immensely helpful to me, as I am being overwhelmed with scads of recommendations, some apparently (but not necessarily) contradictory. This has laid out a very specific dietary protocol, a place to start and to work with as I find out more about what will benefit me. Funny I hardly ever buy radishes, because for some reason they always sit in my refrigerator until they rot and I throw them out once again. But you mentioned it last night, and lo and behold, I happen to have radishes in my frig! I went downstairs and ate some right after I read your note about them. BTW...how many are we talking here? And, I hate yoghurt, but am willing to attempt to eat it...when you say commercial brands are not adequate, should I try for the health-food store type? This often seems as commercial in its own way. Is there a brand you might recommend? And praise God, I am not to eat TOFU! Such a blessing. This partially and substantially makes up for the fact that I must eat broccoli. Yes, I did have a tonsillectomy as a child, but no radiation. Interesting question...care to elaborate? Off group is fine for me also, so as not to irritate others with info that does not apply to them. Last question...I have read about certain benefits of goji juice for cancer victims...I am not a big believer in silver bullets, and I note that the last poster who recommended it for weight loss also sells it... but do you have any info on it pertaining to cancer? With the high levels of antioxidants I can't imagine that it would hurt, and it being somewhat pleasant to the palate, would give me another place to include some of the less palatable items. Blessings to you, and many thanks for taking the time to respond so fully. a E.
Guest guest
Hi a, I have a comment about the goji juice. I think probably the goji berry itself is an excellent antioxidant - before it is made into a processed juice. There are 2 preservatives in the juice - sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. Sure, these are probably a " safer " preservative than others, but I wouldn't want to put them in my body every day, especially if you are fighting cancer (or any other disease for that matter). Somewhere I have an article on a study of benzoates, and it says it can cause hyperactivity behavior. So I would say goji juice should not be on your shopping list. If you want an antioxidant juice, get some pomegranate juice. It is available (at least here) in grocery stores, and it is 100% pomegranate juice - no other added fruit juices, as is in the goji juice (goji juice also has grape and pear juice). Guest guest
Hi sexyareutome I have a friend who has used the Kelley protocol to " cure " (send into deep remission)her breast cancer. The Beck method should be helpful but probably not the cure that he thought it was.Out of all I've read a good place to start reading is cancertutor. That is how I ended up finding this group. Baby Grand is great, no BS and keeps this site going with good info. I've built a couple of his designs with some success with a sinus infection. The key is to keep digging through the nenet untill you get a good understanding of what your dealing with. good luck Steve > > hi > new here, can anyone give me information on themselves being cured by > a nutral method, without surgery or chemo etc > thank u >
Guest guest
Chemo and radiation do not prolong life and will only destroy your friend's health. My co-worker who had a growing canerous tumor in her lung used the following regimen (and other suppplements as suggested by Sardi) and the tumor disappeared. Guest guest
I would suggest she join the Iodine list and ask there. People on that list have gotten rid of lumps on breasts with no surgery and no chemo. Lugol's Iodine rubbed on breasts can shrink lumps. The list gives quotes from doctors and can help people find a Doc who knows about Iodine. I strong urge that she join the list and do her own research. She is not going to get convinced to do anything if she reads the info second-hand. iodine/ Alobar On 12/26/07, Shalom <Sstuck@...> wrote: > My best friend just found out she has breast cancer and is due with their 2nd child in june. Guest guest
There are several success stories already about use of VCO to help cure/control breast cancer. My niece is one of them who was expected to die early this year, but has recovered so far. I think sending the book Coconut Cures to your best friend is a good action. It is giving your friend an alternative, complementation or supplementation to whatever she thinks is best for her. Guest guest
Tell her to stop feeding her cancer cells! She needs to do a complete dietary change. The biggie is sugar - cancer loves sugar! Eliminate all forms of sugar - real and artificial, eliminate wheat, dairy, simple carbs. Eat an alkaline diet. Nothing fried, no junk foods. Eliminate preservatives and chemicals. Cancer indicates she is nutritionally deficient. She needs to build up her immune system - I've posted on this list before how to do that. Guest guest
This is a bit lengthy post, but I believe has alot of good cancer suggestions. I've personally been diagnosed with cancer twice and needed to decide my course of treatment. The first time I did chemo & radiation and have survived 5+ years. The 2nd I did radiation but decided to skip the chemo. Your friend should be cautious and do only what she is comfortable with. I've talked with someone who knew a person that died from a natural cancer treatment, so there are *no guarantees*. I like the idea of taking many natural things and shotgunning it with many substances. But she needs to do something now and not wait or procrastinate whichever treatment she chooses. I think radiation has its place to shrink tumors and stop severe areas of cancer, chemotherapy I don't trust and its like a crapshoot in my opinion. 1) http://miraclemineral.org - Out of all the books and suggestions I read, this is the one I decided to start with. It says it gets results in days, not weeks or months. He claims to have healed thousands of people with malaria with it and I believe he's being truthful. He doesn't sell anything and tells you how to make the product at home. Its very inexpensive. He has a 2 part ebook that explains it. Pt 1 is free and contains all the essential info, Pt 2 is $10. I bought a starter kit from the Global Light people in the suppliers section, its very handy and has all the essentials to start taking it your own. Citric Acid comes with the kit, but can be bought later as needed from iherb.com or other places cheaply. The bottle of MMS lasts a very long time. 2) http://www.beating-cancer-gently.com - This is an excellent alternative cancer book by Bill with many great suggestions. Its normally $27 but is free to any cancer patient who writes up their cancer story to him. I was pleasantly suprised at the quality and amount of data in the book. He also tells you about a $50 urine test you can take that will tell if you have cancer or not, so you can keep up on your progress and not just rely on MRI's, catscans, petscans, etc. He seems to take a multi-product approach to dealing with cancer, hit it with 5-10 anti-cancer things and one or more should get the job done. From his newsletter archive: " And don't forget my bribe. Send me your story about your cancer experience -- good, bad or neutral -- and I'll send you a free copy of my e-book " Cancer-Free. " Your story may help many other people. Just let me know if you want me to include your name or e-mail address when I publish it in the newsletter. I will certainly respect your privacy. Bill Author, " Cure Your Cancer " and " Cancer-Free " 3) How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine by Dr. Murray - http://snipurl.com/1vvhf - Book takes awhile to read but has many very good suggestions, including a chapter called the " The Super Eight: Fighting Cancer Thru Key Natural Products " - Here's a few of the top eight. Most are fairly inexpensive, I found a few to be not applicable or had similar effects or just didn't appeal to me. These 3 are good IMHO. a) High amounts of Proteolytic Enzymes, (he recommends Wobenzyme & Zymactive) Curcumin 200-400mg 3X day c) Quercetin 200-400mg 3x day 4) Papaya leaves made up as a Tea have been used by people in the East for years as a treatment for Cancer. This was news to me! The whole plant has medicinal value, but the plant leaves & skin are the most beneficial for cancer. This book explains it, not available at Amazon, B & N, etc. This seems like a simple solution of just drinkng tea, 3 times daily. Of course, Papaya is great for the digestive system. article- http://snipurl.com/1vvhl Book - Papaya The Medicine Tree - http://www.wise-mens- web.com/book_ptmt.html 5) The Moss Report - http://cancerdecisions.com - Site by Ralph Moss, PhD who is author of 7 cancer books and has been researching cancer treatments for 34 years. I ordered his report for my cancer for $295 (!) It was quite informative at 488 pages, although a bit conservative and maybe not as much current research/testing on the alternatives as I'd liked. He evaluates the current " standard " Big Pharma treatments and many alternatve treatments. In his book " Questioning Chemotherapy " . I believe he found that chemo works in only 8-10% of cases, and a survey of Oncologists revealed that 75% of them would NOT undergo chemo themselves if they contracted cancer. To see a sample report, click on " order a report " , then " click here to see a sample report " . I believe much of the information is the same regardless of what type of cancer report you order. 6) Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) - http://iptforcancer.com - This is a low dose chemotherapy that uses only 10-20% of the normal amount of chemo drugs, along with insulin to prime the cancer cells beforehand. I talked with a woman who did IPT and is surviving fine now. I also spoke with an IPT clinic in Fairfax, Va., they were very professional and said most insurance *does* cover this treatment. You can find an IPT practitioner thru the site above. 7) Low Dose Naltextrone - http://www.low dose naltrexone.org - This treatment was highly thought of by one IPT doctor, Ayre of Chicago. There's also a group at LDN_4_cancer Simple anti-cancer supplements/foods: Cabbage juice - All the cabbage family has anti-cancer effects. In one study, 54% of tumors disappeared. L-Arginine - (amino acid) toxic to cancer cells Red Raspberry capsules or herb High quality Fish Oil = 700-100mg EPA 400-700 DHA daily for cancer patients. Book (#2 above) recommends only using a high quality brand such as Natural factors, Enzymatic Thearpy or Nordic Naturals. I think Carlson's and possibly Nature's Answer (iherb) are also HQ brands that provide high amounts of EPA/DHA. Green Tea Extract - 1000mg daily ECGC content Red Clover (herb) - Has a *Long History* of cancer treatment, some call it " a God-given remedy " . It exerts a positive influence on cancers of all types. Garlic - 2 naturopath doctors that have actual experience treating cancers say " If you only use one plant treating cancer, use Garlic. " Garlic has anti-cancer & anti-tumor properties. Melatonin - 3-20mg daily has anti-cancer properties. Cat's Claw (herb) - Reduces the effects of Chemo. Chlorella - Reduces the effects of Chemo. Should be mixed at least one minute with water or juice before drinking to break down chlorella cell walls further. Lastly, I read in one of the Books that Cancer is a personal " Wake-up call in the highest degree " . I believe Cancer (or most disease) is the body's manifestation of upsets or unresolved situatations in a person's life. The above physical treatments are all body, body, body, body based. The true CAUSE I believe is a mental or spiritual one and should really be looked at to try to discover and resolve those issues. There's a German doctor who also believes this (Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer). I'm not into the brain theories, but I believe there are truths there about the life upsets he talks about. Sometimes discovering the TRUTH about something will *vanish* a condition, like the saying " The truth will set you free " . There's also an explanation of cancer I read from the Founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, that I've never heard anywhere else. I wont post it to the list (unless people are interested) but if you'd like to read it, just email me. Best of luck, > > My best friend just found out she has breast cancer and is due with their 2nd child in june. She is just starying her second trimester. Any ideas to help her? She ofcourse is being strongly advised to abort, but like us ( my husband and I) believes God will decide thier baby's fate that she and her husband shouldn't have to make that descion, so though it is possable and mant cancer moms have had perfectlt healthy babies, She is 31 and scared. rightly so. Any suggestions to help her. She ofcourse is being told to take radiation and chemo, so she'll never be able to bf again. I was thinking of sending her coconut cures but she won't do anything " crazy " without a doctor behind her, but was am hopin that reading about how good coconut milk is for a baby annd how much i's like breast milk would maybe help her? What do you think? she found a lump in her breast. I am still looked at as wacky in my family and among a lot of friends. : ( I hate knowing what could help and be shunned as wacko. > Thanks for any help. > Shalom > >
Guest guest
I figure it's there if she reads it great if not I tried. I know it's helping me heal faster. Shalom Re: breast cancer There are several success stories already about use of VCO to help cure/control breast cancer. My niece is one of them who was expected to die early this year, but has recovered so far. I think sending the book Coconut Cures to your best friend is a good action. It is giving your friend an alternative, complementation or supplementation to whatever she thinks is best for her. Guest guest
had some great ideas; I am going to save that info for the future. But, as for the following: " Red Clover (herb) - Has a *Long History* of cancer treatment, some call it " a God-given remedy " . It exerts a positive influence on cancers of all types. " I do know that Red Clover can't be fed to pregnant horses. Check it out first.

Guest guest
> > thanks I will pass this on to her. > Shalom I noticed the link broke up for 'Papaya - The Medicine Tree' book. Try again. Book: http://www.wise-mens-web.com/book_ptmt.html Can read some of it online at Google Books: http://tinyurl.com/25ca6q
Guest guest
Don't fall for all the hype about these fruit juice blends with preservatives. I doubt if potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate every day would be good for cancer. If you can get the Acai berry - eat the berry, don't drink the processed juice! Guest guest
Hi Miriam I'm so sorry to hear about your brothers friend, she and her family must be so worried. I am by no means an expert, but I have read about a substance called DIM (diindolylmethane). It is extracted from vegetables such as brocolli. Studies have shown that it can convert " aggressive " forms of oestrogen to the more benign form (ie estradiol converts to estriol) and thus is supposes to be useful treating problems related to oestrogen dominance (including breast cancer) I know that Dr Uzzi Reiss (author of an excellent book called " Natural Hormone Balance for Women " ) recommends DIM. As you might imagine, there are many different products on the market, but I've read that the bio-available forms of DIM are superior to the others. Levels of bio-available DIM apparently remain higher in the body for longer periods. I recently bought the following brand; http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?c=1 & pid=4117 & at=0 because it is in a bioavailable form. I cannot say how good or bad the product actually is, as I've only started taking it, but i can tell you that in conjunction with progesterone cream, the horrible symptoms I was experiencing with oestrogen fluctuations have balanced out. I can also highly recommend iherb.com - I've repeatedly found them very reliable and very good on price. THere is also a book called " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer " by Dr Lee. I havent read it, but I have read one of his other books and he is well respected. I hope your brothers friend gets the help she needs and is able to put this cancer behind her. Marie xx
