Guest guest
Vanizia- Hahaha, I was just thinking the SAME exact thing. I really want to give up this fluoride crap. What brands of water DEFFINITELY don't have any fluoride in them? Sorry I know everyone talked about this before ... I've been pretty out of it these past two weeks and haven't kept up with these posts either. I had a super bad hive breakout and ended up in the emergency room a couple times. They had to take a bunch of biopsies on my feet and stitch them up. I was walking around NYC in slippers for like a week and a half lol. Things have been pretty rough for me lately. Guest guest
Oh ! That's sounds very painful. Is everything ok? Do you know why you broke out in hives? I breakout in hives among other symptoms when I have food or drink or meds with sulfites in them....do you have a sulfite sensitivity? Were the hives on your feet or is that not related? Sorry for all the questions. I just feel really bad for you....you sound like such a sweet person. I guess if I have herbal tea, I am ok....according to Chuck's post but yeh this fluoride is not good stuff for anyone. Do you get Dr Mercola's newsletter? He has a lot of info on this. Guest guest
Venizia- I always love that caffiene kick in the morning so perhaps I'll give up my earl grey and go back to coffee. This last breakout was pretty bad. I say hives because it is quick and easy (i'm so lazy, lol) but I went to the ER each time because they really didn't seem like typical hives to me. The dermatologists all thought it was dermatitis herpetiformous (a result of celiac disease - gluten intolerance), but all the biopsies came back negative, their only answer was it was a sensitivity thing. It started on my knees and elbows, which = dermatitis herpetiformous, but then I tested positive for that dermagraphic stuff so it spread all over my hands, forearms, feet, and all along the soles of my feet because there is pressure <<haha>> (nervous laughter). Guest guest
Hi ! I had the same thing skin rash. Mine itched so much. I went to the hospital with it and they said it was an allergic reaction but didn't say to what. My eyes had yellow fluid coming out of them. I told them that my dog had the same thing as I did. They only disregarded what I said. My Dog died from this and I almost did also. Then they said that I was Hypothyroid. They gave me ..75mcg Levothyroxine. I then lost 35 lbs in one month, Adema and rash went away in less than a few days. I am still on the Levothyroxine and almost OK. I cut out the gluten and bread. Sometimes I eat bread or cake that is gluten free and Wheat free. Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free Pancake & Baking Mix and Gluten-Free Pantry Sandwitch bread mix are 2 of the products I use to make my own bread. They are sold in A & P stores across the country. I hope you feel better. I know what you went through. Be Well, Dauphine999 Gracia <circe@...> wrote: how much Iodoral are you taking? or is it just iodine? Guest guest
I didn't state that the fluoride was naturally occurring. In fact the town's water supply is supplemented with fluoride. Thus it is not natural.. Either way fluoride is fluoride. Natural or not it's getting into products that we consume everyday. Re: What is new at the conference? .. Fluoride is in the water that is put on our food in the fields. So unless you eat organic you run a risk. I just want to state something here, I work for an organic dairy product manufacturer and the water they used was right from the fluoridated town water supply. Yes, it was filtered in the plant but what exactly was filtered? As a matter of fact the filtration system didn't work very good all the time. Believe me. I saw a few things I wish I hadn't. Anyway, just a thought. and my .02..
Guest guest
, Stay away from nuts of all kinds while the hives are active. Even if you are not allergic to them, they can aggravate the histamine response. Also, if you start getting swollen lips or hives on the face, ask your doctor for an epi pen. If the hives reach your windpipe, they can kill. Chuck

Guest guest
Chuck- Thanks so much for the advice! I had no idea nuts can still be an issue even if you aren't allergic. It's like an art trying to work with the breakouts - cold showers, anti-histamines as soon as possible, steroids if the swelling gets too bad. Thanks for the reminder about the epi-pens. The first time I was introduced to them was when I got diagnosed with hashi's and this stuff spread across half my face causing one of my eyes to toally swell shut. Good times. Super attractive too lol. Thanks for your help Chuck! Take care! In a message dated 10/11/07 6:11:00 PM, gumboyaya@... writes: > > , > > Stay away from nuts of all kinds while the hives are active. Guest guest
oh I think the Iodoral is crucial, as important as thyroid meds. it is the cure for the breakouts and " celiac " etc. with Iodoral I think you would need less Armour too. I have been OK, just working all the time, but fall in Maine is beautiful. Guest guest
In this day and age, what responsible website tries to say that fluoride in any form is not harmful? Guest guest
So, does organic tea not have flouride? I love Zhena's Gypsy Tea, Coconut Chai, and it's been a primary way for me to get my coconut oil in (since it solidifies on salad, even when I mix it with olive oil). Without tea, I don't know how I'll get it in. But I don't want flouride. I don't use flouride toothpaste, and don't drink my flouridated tap water. I do supplement with iodine/iodide. I lost my thyroid to cancer in 2006. ---- Alobar <Alobar@...> wrote: > In this day and age, what responsible website tries to say that > fluoride in any form is not harmful? > > Tea is also the plant which tends to be drenched the most with toxins. > One can obtain organic tea, but it is expensive and hard to find. > > Alobar > > On 5/28/08, Hazel <hazelalexander@...> wrote: > > Sol > > after reading your post I was very concerned as I drink a lot of tea and a couple of years ago swapped to green tea instead of black because I 'thought' it was better for me. > > > > I've now read several articles some saying fluoride is harmful, some saying it's not, but none of them are particulary helpful in saying what may help if you do have a lot of fluoride in your system/environment. > > > > Can you recommend any sites that would be good to read? > > > > Many thanks > > > > Hazel > > > >
