Guest guest
Betty,If the sleep issue is still bothering you after such a long time on LDN you may want to consider taking LDN in the morning. People do dose at that time to avoid the sleep difficulties and still enjoy LDN's benefits.JackieFrom: 6dickersons@... <6dickersons@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN Questionslow dose naltrexone Date: Saturday, June 26, 2010, 9:31 AMHi There,I just found this list though I've been using LDN for a year now. I have celiac and some IBS tendencies as well as chronic fatigue and adrenal fatigue. When I started LDN I was getting GI upset and cramping with everything I ate. I was extremely sensitive. I went off all grains and sugar and still had issues. I was also EXTREMELY fatigued all the time. I started a supplement treatment for adrenal fatigue about the same time I started LDN. I worked my way up to 4.5 mg and had sleep issues this whole year. I never felt more energy. I questioned whether LDN was doing anything for me.A month ago, I went off all supplements and LDN to do a saliva test. Getting off the LDN was just for my own knowledge to see if it was helping me. I also started taking 1mg of melatonin before bed and my sleep issues got better. I just can't stay asleep. One thing I did start to notice 3-4 weeks from getting off LDN is that I am reacting to foods again. I get sick from almost everything I eat (even grain free/sugar free). I think that's where the LDN was benefiting me.So, now I want to start taking LDN again. I'm wondering if 4.5mg just wasn't the right dose for me? Why was I having so many sleep issues and no change in energy? Since being off LDN for a few weeks is it okay to start back up at 4.5mg?Since starting treatment, I've moved to Stuart, FL (north of West Palm Beach) and I'm on my last bottle of LDN. Does anybody know of a prescribing doctor near me or is it better to get the 50mg from Canada and make my own? Thanks for your help with all my questions. I wish I had found this list a year ago!Blessings!Betty------------------------------------
