Guest guest
I would venture to say that PPMS is a tough one. 9 months for PPMS may not be a 'long time'.... there May be something in your environment that is doing you in. Like a leaky boat, if the hole is too big, the bailings may not be able to keep up. Look for toxins around you... are you working in an environment that's poisoning you? mold? H2SO4 gasses? Something unseen, odorless, etc? Are you still taking it, or did you give up 9 months into, many months ago? Good luck, hope you find Something to help you. Yah, we shouldn't say it helps a LOT of people when it Doesn't help One here and there. Just because it helps a majority, there's always the vocal and unhappy minority to think of Re: [LDN_4_Pets] Radiation Hormesis It kept being pushed for MS, which starts to show how things get distorted on the Internet when shared over and over again. The problem is that many things can help in specific cases. Indeed, lots of people feel better with the MLM products, probably because their health is lacking some nutrient that it supplies. They feel so much better that they are convinced that it will help everybody, and they "swear by them" as well. I remember the hoopla over shark cartilage curing cancer, because sharks don't get cancer. Multi-millions were made off of that claim before it was debunked. It is so hard to tell what hidden treatments are valid and which are not. That is the basic reason that I had hoped that we would stick to LDN when possible. We KNOW it works, have a pretty good idea of how and why it works, and although there might be other things that can be done for certain cases, the LDN should be the basis of all of them, in my opinion.Francie Bee stings are not quakery. Guest guest
sharks can and do get cancer, but very rarely... it takes a lot for them to get it. the antiangiogenesis effect in shark cartilage is real. getting the delicate long molecules into the body in sufficient amount is the problem. last i read, it hasn't really been debunked. trials wernen't encouraging, but mixed results and conclusions were inconclusive. aside from cancer, i know shark cartilage is a great anti-inflammatory and is what started all the momentum of glucosamine. i used it instead of really expensive NSAIDS for pseudo gout in my knees. the NSAIDS worked fast, but risked gastro bleeding. the shark had to build up for a couple days and then worked just as well... no sides except fishy burping, and although not cheap it was only about 5% of the cost of the Rx NSAIDS. Though it may be helping a multitude of people, it has not helped me after 9 months of use for Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. That must be difficult for you. But, as you yourself say, it is/does help a "multitude of people," -- the vast majority of those who try it -- so for all those to definitively say, "It works!" is not exaggeration, nor a "sweeping statement." (Apart from the fact that there may be some minority of people for whom LDN simpIy doesn't work -- reasons unknown -- I assume you've examined the possible reasons it might not be working for you, e.g., yeast problem, diet, etc.?)n> ________________________________> From: Francie Stull <francie@...>> LDN_4_Pets > Sent: Thu, May 20, 2010 6:13:20 PM> Subject: Re: [LDN_4_Pets] Radiation Hormesis>>It kept being pushed for MS, which starts to show how things get > distorted on the Internet when shared over and over again.>> The problem is that many things can help in specific cases.
