Guest guest
Fiona - I cannot speak much to the doage issue. I was able to start right at 4.5 mg and have tolerated it exceedingly well. The physical symptoms in your leg sound like neuropathic/referral pain to me - tracking up to the low back - L4-5 or L5-S1 areas - do you have any herniated/ruptured discs in the area? Any hx of trauma to the back (and/or car accident)? I have herniated and ruptured discs in that area and have similar symptoms - left leg/ankle/foot. I have had better pain management with the LDN and the DLPA than I did with years of epidurals, surgeries, ibuprofen, vidodin, percocet, etc - but I still have symptoms. That left calf especially can get so tight I can barely walk sometimes. Just throwing it out there because sometimes we link everything to one thing (for you it might be ME/CFS - for me it is UC and the car accident) but fail to realize the culprit might be something else entirely. However a sticking point, is my calves, kust above the tendon, where the leg widens, this area can feel tight and uncomfortable. In addition, I also get discomfort in the muscles under my feet. > > Following yoga yesterday, I have had a lot of solidness in my lower legs and feet and a vibrating sensation in my left lower leg and foot again. Guest guest
Hi Fiona I had this when I first increased dose, exactly the same, going from 2.5 to 2.75ml. I went back to 2.5 and stayed there a couple of weeks, then tried again, but going up even tinier (non exact) amounts. I eventually got to 4.5ml which is where I’m at now. It took several months though. Join the VeryLowDose group for more advice... Rory From: low dose naltrexone [mailto:low dose naltrexone ] On Behalf Of Fiona Sent: 03 June 2010 15:01 I had major palpitations and I felt hot and flushed when I had 2.75mls. I had to ride it out and I didn't get to sleep until 2am. I have used my common-sense and reduced back to 2.5mls because the palpitations were worrying and I didn't want to repeat it.
