I'm taking LDN at night for MS for 7 weeks. Now in lots of pain with bulging

disc in my neck. What is the ramification if I take Hydrocodone during the day

for ultra pain from bulging disc? Have tried motrin, aspirin and ibuprofen (on

different days)- in 800 mg. doses but doesn't touch the pain. Will hydrocodone

affect the LDN or my body or is it just that the hydrocodone will not work as

well?

From what I understand, the hydrocodone will not work. But I haven't heard

anyone say that you will have a bad reaction, unless you have been addicted to

hydrocodone for a long time and then suddenly start taking LDN, you would go

into withdrawal from the sudden stoppage of hydrocodone's effect on your body.

If I am wrong, please advise.

If you can get pain relief from Tramadol I understand that as it is short-acting on the opioid receptors it will have left them open for LDN when you are sure to take it midway in the 24 period between taking one dose of LDN and the next. The hydrocodone is much longer acting on the receptors and I don't believe you will find it useful taken with LDN even 12 hours later. The hydrocodone would most likely not work.Tramadol has been chemically engineered to flood the receptors briefly only, so if your LDN has cleared your receptors you could use Tramadol without concern it may still be in your receptors when you take your LDN next. But if the pain is so bad you must use a stronger opiate, you will have to go off LDN until you don't need pain relief anymore or until Tramadol is all you

would need.I hope this makes sense.
