LDN and low dose prednisone

I have Crohn's and I started LDN 3 months ago. I was on 10mg of prednisone and

my Crohn's was flaring. The LDN stopped the flare and I have reduced the pred to

7mg. However, I am now getting tummy pains late afternoon/evening. I plan to

start D-phenyalanine to try to extend the endorphin release.

My questions:

At 7mg will the prednisone be having any positive effect?

Will the LDN be negating the pred's immunosupressant effects?

Worse still, will the pred be reducing the effectiveness of the LDN?

Does anyone have the science or have experience of the combined effect of LDN

and low dose prednisone?

I have been on steroids for 13 years. This is the lowest dose I have been on for

over a decade. I'm wondering whether I should try to come off completely or

perhaps switch to hydrocortisone for adrenal support.

I would appreciate any input.
